I sent a DM to @ProChargerTECH seeking some clarity on their instructions, but I have not heard back yet. I may end up sourcing my own bolts and bolting it up the way it seems most others have done as this seems to make the most sense.
Interested to hear the response. Sure hope this can get sorted out for you soon.

I’m driving the car, but I’m keeping the rpms low and staying out of boost. Still breaking in the motor and all. It’s on its second batch of 5-20 semi and tomorrow I’ll drain that and put in 5-30 full synthetic

why would you not be running 5w40 or 10w40 or 5w50 in a blown motor?

Why would I run those as opposed to 5w-30? I’m sure there are many schools of thought on engine oil viscosity and why brand x is better than brand y. That being said I’m more than comfortable with my choice.

Bolts for ac pulley, they go thru the non-threaded holes of the damper hub:

Bolts for the mandrel and blower pulley, they thread into the damper hub:

I have reversed the bolts and it didn't have any issues either.
After closely studying your pictures I think I picked up on a couple of things. Does your blower pulley have threaded holes? And is your blower pulley an 8” pulley? If so this could be the difference in or cs kits. I went with the 18& up 7.65 blower pulley

because the demands of FI are considerably higher than NA. And because the Ford spec for every FI engine has been 5w50. 10w40 is also a good choice. 5w20 is not appropriate for even a NA Coyote.

also bolt lengths are ALWAYS measured from under the head.
They're laying on the tape so you can see overall length and you can see the shank and thread length. Anyone competent can read these bolts.

My blower pulley is not threaded. It's the 7.65". I do have an 8" here but it's not machined for the mandrel. I would like to have it done for the future, though.

Damn. That shoots that theory.

Huh?

There are not many schools of thought on the subject as pretty much everyone recommends 5-50, including Ford. Not sure what brand x vs. y has to do with it.

That said, the choice is indeed yours to make even if it grenades your motor. Carry on.

Cool. Thanks for your blessing. If you want to start another motor oil thread do that. Looking for scientific data period. Not, everyone is doing internet bullshit.

Again, no need to start a thread. 5-50W is recommended by Mother Ford. Unless you can come up with some compelling reasons why I should doubt Ford, I will continue to follow the absolute experts on the matter.

Do what thou wilt...

Where is this recommendation documented? I called Roush today and they insisted that I should be putting 5w20 in my 16 Roush Phase 2.
