yes, sorry to say - all those are is the OEM aluminum capped lugs painted black…. I would return them and get something else for your points…. They’re definitley going to swell, dent, and the coated surface will get damaged (cheap coating).

Get the Gorilla lugs, many have posted positive remarks about those as being the best choice.
I understand it has a swaged cap, but I can't really understand why they cost so much if it's just the cheap OEM one painted black. Clearly something different has to be going on here. Especially since it's not like the other chrome Ford Performance ones are overpriced, it's $12.49 per 5. $62 for a set, which is right in line with the Gorilla offerings. These are essentially $12.50 EACH. So where is the extra money going? Is the base nut made of 409 stainless or something? Is the PVD coating really that expensive?

I'm not too bothered because I had nothing else I really wanted to use my points on lol, I didn't know these weren't 1 piece tho

When I installed my passenger clean side ford perf catch can, I drove around last few days. I notice I hit 10afr on wot, but yesterday I pulled up my OBD fusion and showed I had a 1 knock on cylinder 4.

i went ahead turned car off and on, 1 knock was still on cyl 4. No cel present. So I scanned for cel’s and found “unable to bleed fuel tank” or something I didn’t save it. But I cleared it.

it removed the knock 1 on cylinder 4.

do you think it’s due to new catch can? And that on wot it gets to 10afr? Causing knock? I may have to removeit if it comes back. 2 warm up cycles since clear and no knock and no pending code

opinions folks

Car had full paint correction, new rotors came. Applied ceramic to the hats and calipers. Rears won’t be here till Monday and picked up my factory GT500 spoiler from paint. Gurney flap is still factory gloss black. And applied a fresh coat of reload to the wheels over the ceramic.

Edit, I went out and stomped it hard everywhere like a hooligan with track mode and tC off, no codes, nothing. I did put a little piece of fabric / felt under the hose that may bounce off engine. seems to absorb if it bumps it from accelerating. So maybe that was the issue

no knocks or cel’s or anything
