I understand it has a swaged cap, but I can't really understand why they cost so much if it's just the cheap OEM one painted black. Clearly something different has to be going on here. Especially since it's not like the other chrome Ford Performance ones are overpriced, it's $12.49 per 5. $62 for a set, which is right in line with the Gorilla offerings. These are essentially $12.50 EACH. So where is the extra money going? Is the base nut made of 409 stainless or something? Is the PVD coating really that expensive?yes, sorry to say - all those are is the OEM aluminum capped lugs painted black…. I would return them and get something else for your points…. They’re definitley going to swell, dent, and the coated surface will get damaged (cheap coating).
Get the Gorilla lugs, many have posted positive remarks about those as being the best choice.
I'm not too bothered because I had nothing else I really wanted to use my points on lol, I didn't know these weren't 1 piece tho
