I hope so, they made an incredible offer. You should look into it. You might get more than you paid.

Going to get into vacation rentals and need my credit freed up.
Good luck on the new endeavor. Hopefully make some money and get back into another Mustang at some point!

It seems like none of them, or most dealers, don’t know how to properly value the Roush cars and just want to go off stock Mustang GT. I’m curious to see what they offered you if you want to PM me. Heck I had a dealer offer me $50K and told him no thanks.

The key is to use online places like Vroom, Car Max, Carvana, etc. Dealerships don't offer good prices on them.

ET Street S/S is a bit stickier but the downside is it’s horrendous in rain and doesn’t handle well. Car can tend to feel like it’s wallowing at highway speeds.

Nitto claims the 555R2 it hooks better than the NTO5R and is pretty safe in rain, handles very well for a drag radial and doesn’t wear out too fast.

Best drag radial for the street in my opinion is the 555 R2.
This is the reason why I went with the NT05 & NT05R pairing. Freeway speeds feel stable and in control.

If that is a daily just be careful in the rain. The 555r2 can hook power but still handle the rain where the NT05R just don't do well when wet.
She's not my daily, but I'll most definitely be a little more aware of the weather when she goes out.

My 305/45/17 SS’s are dead stable at any speed. Slow down in the rain, and as long as they aren’t less than 50% tread, they will get you home easily.

Most people only think about the width of a tire when it comes to straight-line traction. What nearly everyone forgets is the diameter is important, too. If you are struggling with traction, going to a smaller dia. tire will make it worse. The contact patch (from front to back) will be smaller, and the torque at the pavement will be increased due to the overall gearing advantage a smaller dia. tire gives.

So, look at going wider AND taller. I.e., Don't go from 275/40/19 to a 285/35/19 as so many here do. Instead, go to 285/40/19 or 295/40/19 (if available) on the rear. It may not be perfect, but it will be a step in the right direction.

Only problem with that is you throw handling out the window. I'm trying to find something that handles very well and provides at least some straight line traction. I have 325/30/19 4s on the back now and they take corners well, but straight line is terrible. Blew the tires off at 121mph.

I just put on some pirelli p zero corsa PZC4 315 35 20's. They may be slightly better that ps4s but they are only treadware 60 or something. On roads with a lot on silica they grip great but on normal asphault I dont think there is any hope for any tires other than drag radials. This is NA btw. Drag mode just blows any tire loose on these 10r80s unless its a drag radial. I think my best accelleration G forces with ps4s was .76 , with these pzc4 its .84 so far and ive only had them 1 day, with MH racemasters I got .94 accelleration G forces, all data on the street not the strip.

Ya PS4s can barely handle NA power let alone boosted. Garbage considering their price. One of the first things I sold off the pp1 set up when I first got it.

What did you replace them with?

555r2 ftw. Took a few others to get there but glad finally landed on those. G2 on the fronts.

Yeah, 325/30/19 are an inch smaller than stock diameter. Like I said, too small diameter = bad traction. Too much focus on width and not on diameter.

Going with 285/40/19 or 325/35/19 isn't going to be much of a compromise with handling. The factory tires are 275/40 in the rear so the profiles of those two sizes are only slightly larger. The overall diameter is only 0.3" larger than factory, give or take.
