Went through 5 cats on my 19 Roush Stage 3 in only 14,000 miles and I had enough. Roush 2650 is a poorly designed blower for Gen 3 running too much boost. Never again.
Get the PMAS 120 Intake, 79mm pulley and if you can find a used VMP Twin 67 Throttle Body you’re good to go. You’ll probably lay down 670-680whp on good 93.
Once your 3/36 from Roush is done there is no other coverage available. If you buy a Ford ESP it will not cover anything powertrain related. Your cats are covered regardless for 8 years.
When I was going through the cat saga with Roush they told me a lot of times the P0420/P0430 codes are tune related and not necessarily a cat failure that they were working on a fix. Roush would opt to replace the cats knowing there is a good chance the cats were fine. Never had issues with the...
I went through 5 cats on my 19 Roush Stage 3 in 16,000 miles before I got rid of it. I strongly believe it’s more Roush tune related. If I kept the car I was ditching the Roush tune.
That’s what I did. My 19 RS3 was a beautiful car and I got fed up and bought a 21 GT500 and there is no comparison. If you get a chance to drive one you’ll see what I mean. My wife even noticed the difference. From the powertrain to the suspension to the insane brakes and the overall ride it’s...
Besides the cat issues and cooling inefficiency, trying to find a dealer and how slow things move to get warranty repairs done I would strongly advise against anyone throwing this set up on. Just not worth it. Any other kit with a tune not ragged out from a reputable company you will have a nice...
If I kept my car after going through 5 cats on the Roush calibration I was 100% blowing the warranty and going to get a VMP tune and a upgraded intercooler brick from Jokerz Performance. Roush should be using the Jokerz brick to address the cooling deficiencies. There is no way they don’t know...
I had a 19 RS3 like you and have great experience with this issue. I never experienced any drivability issues it just threw a P0420 or P0430 Cat Inefficiency Code and took it to the dealer. After they spoke with Roush they replaced the cats. I had the drivers side and passenger side cats...

The 2300 is a badass blower and loved it on my 17. It outperformed the 2650 and took to upgrades quite easy. I was running at 679whp on my 17 Roush 2300 ion 93 and right around 720whp on 100 octane and was a great set up. Not a single issue or code for the 15,000 miles I had it.
Boy oh boy I do not miss the issues with the 2650 Roush blower having constant cat codes. I really thought they would’ve redesigned the 2650 to an inverted blower like everyone else and be more competitive with potential to turn it up. I was a big Roush fan but going through 5 cats on my 19 RS3...
