It will yes. There are times mine skips right past 4 in normal mode. Normal mode is smoother than stock with the tune, but still has its quirks. If anything seems to rough or agressive clearing the kam and relearning should help. Sport Plus is even smooth for me. I don't get the crazy downshifts that felt like you were being rear ended after clearning the kam.
Agreed. Doesn't take long to relearn either. Absolutely worth it; smoothed out the idle, throttle response much improved, and the torque will plant a smile on your face.

Has anyone successfully installed this kit with the Ford Perf. Oil separator? Levittown Ford website states it "WILL NOT FIT" with the new throttle body. Is this true? Totally bummed, just noticed this. I installed the oil separator a few months ago and was planning on doing this performance upgrade next.

^^ there will probably be a new bracket upgrade for it later. I would not let that stop you from getting the performance kit. It's a good kit. I wonder if you can install the FP oil seperator without the bracket.

Is this new bracket something Ford said would be released?
After thinking about it I will go ahead and pull the trigger on the kit. If Ford doesn't revise the bracket, I can design my own on CAD and have it made and powder coated at work.

I havent heard anything about a new bracket for FP. Was just saying it makes sense for them to do something about it. I have a JLT oil seperator. It was tight after the power kit. I messed with it and found switching the hoses, the short one with the long one, moved the can to a different position and it fits fine now. A little tilted but works.

For those with this tune, what fuel are you using? I only have access to 91 (non-ethanol) and 94 (10% ethanol). From what I read here, I am better off with the 94 for performance. 91 for better mileage? Do I need to specify the octane rating in the Procal device or the software? Once the tune is loaded, do I have to change it if I fill up with a different octane or will it adapt to the change in octane by itself? I read something about a 91 octane checkbox is that right?

It's a minimum 91 octane tune but will perform better if you run 93. I don't know what the maximum octane you can use before it doesn't matter or actually start to lose performance.
I run about 30% e85 with 91 and it's so much better performing than the factory tune.

I use 93 (10% ethonal) and it runs perfect. I actually tried to do the e85 mix, like 3 gallons e85 to 13 gallon 93 (full tank). I did that like 3 times and the results werent noticeable for me. When I stay straight 93, the car feels way better. Earlier in this thread there is talk about the fuel. Around post #760 in that area of the thread. I dont remember checking a box for fuel on the procal
