That was my argument a few months ago. "Some" particulars just weren't hearing it, though. It reminded me of that meme.

^^ I recently just changed to 4.09 gears from 3.55, the car feels awesome! Still going through break in about 190 miles to go to change diff fluid, then I'll really get on it, but the gearing makes a huge difference and the kit as well with it. Good combo.

I have a 2020 GT performance. Automatic and all stock. I am in California and run 91 octane. I am Having the kit installed Tuesday at my local Ford Dealership and I will let you guys know my thoughts. I’m just hoping for a little better throttle response when I get on it while driving.

None of the local dealers here in South Bay would install the kit. I had to have Galpin Auto Sports do it. They are the tuner part of Galpin Ford. Which dealer may I ask? One thing, make sure they install the snorkel that connects it to the front grill. Galpin forgot mine and I noticed my intake temps were going through the roof. Had to take it back and thank the Lord they didn't throw it away.

Ran into the same problems. The only place set up to do them around me is Fritz Ford in Riverside. All local dealers send theirs to them.
There is also a place in Buena Park. It is a performance center set up by a Ford dealership. Sounds Like the same thing going on with your dealership. .

South Bay Ford said they are so busy with warranty work and other paid work they didn't bother with anything aftermarket, Ford or not.

I was just thinking exactly this before I hit your comment. A CAI install is one of the first things an amateur does after spark plugs and an oil change.

I got mine installed at Galpin Auto Sports also and no issues with the install like it was said above it requires very simple mechanical skill.
Ford though gave me a voucher code that was already used and had to email back and forth for a day to get a new one so my car stayed there for 2 days,Fords fault not Galpins.

They did warranty work for me and so did Autonation. but I go to Southbay for my regular maintenance. but I hear otherwise about issues. So far I am ok, but yeah I will consider GAS if I decide to get the FP kit and stay N/A and in warranty, since my car is a daily driver and a mostly city commute.

Muffler bearings need a lot more maintenance on newer cars, especially if you have active exhaust.
