Toyo's are loud btw at highway speeds. Annoying on long trips. So once again not a daily car tire. They are strictly for taking down hellcats on the street.

I just replaced my worn out 305/35/20 NT555Rs (6k miles) with a fresh set. It feels like a brand new car and with over 700whp it will hook on a second gear roll.

If you’re leaving TC on, you’re losing a ton of acceleration.

and if you’re drag racing on the street with any kind of power you better have a drag radial or slick on a 15” or 17” wheel.

I run Falken FK510's Stick car
Always TC on - WOT pulls spin them a bit then grip until i shift then spin a little again.
I have read a few post with guys doing this. My tuner cautioned me against doing wot pulls with TC on. He said it creates a lean condition because the car cuts fuel to stop wheel spin.

I can’t say this is true in all cases, but I’ve data logged mine with TC on and it closed the throttle blade to modulate power.

What is wrong with the cup 2 as a good traction street tire with decent treadwear and not-dangerous wet performance?

I was running 305/35/20 Mickey Et Street SS and they worked badass with the Vortech V3JT on my 2018 Mustang GT, but they only lasted 12k miles.
Went back to my 305/35/20 Continental Extreme Contact Sports. No where near the same traction as the Mickeys, but they are controllable. Definitely work well in the rain with tc on as long as I dont get to pedal happy. They work great when its warm outside. Useless when its cold, but my last set lasted 28k miles rear and 35k front.

Yes I'm supercharged. They are great handling tires
With 305's up front, do you get rubbing? Are your front wheels and rear's the same size and offset? What size wheel are you running, I think the look of fat meats all the way around is a killer look! THANKS - i appreciate your input!

325 Indy 500 rears. At 740whp in 3rd with 3.73's in the rear they would hook perfectly. Now at 850whp they break loose in 4th with ease. ET Street R's are on full time now in the city.

I'm pretty happy with my MPSS. I've gotten 20k out of the rears. I can hook at the top of 2nd on a hot day with careful pedaling. But usually it's 3rd with careful pedaling. Dropping the pedal straight to the floor even in 4th will be fishtail city.

I need treadlife so I've dealt with the MPSS. If I chose to go DR, which ones last the longest and can handle rain? In 19"?

Traction control and Advanced Trac off right? I have 305/45R17 ET-R's @12psi and I can't get them to hook until about 50-60mph. I'm going to a 325/50R15 ET-R now and we'll see if it helps.
