I run a 4.8 in 2000DA at 15psi with a completely stock motor and transmission and full weight of 4200lbs. So I'll say it again. All that money and work he has done AND in mineshaft, hero DA, just to run a 4.7 isn't impressive. Sorry not sorry...lol
Well for reference I'm a 4200lbs car, stock motor trans, 21psi ET Street R's and in 2200ft and 3500DA I ran 5.0 slightly spinning which is easily heard in my run. I can't imagine running in some of the DA I'm seeing on here. Be mid 4's no problem in the 1000ft or less, especially the negative...
How much power are you running at the event? I'm only pump gas and 700whp but I'm considering throwing in E on the same pulley but don't want to make things worse with trying to control more power now...lol. I only do this one no prep event every year, the rest is on a prepped track.
Looking for some experiences and advice for the best tire / suspension setting for no prep launching. Car is 4230lbs with me, Gen 5 Whipple 10R car. It's a no prep, 1/8 mile event at an airstrip. It has hosted many events in the past so there is that heavy layer of rubber but they don't prep it...
I can't honestly remember if I had my drag rears on or not. Looking at the video I had to gently roll into it so I'm thinking it was 3rd with my street tires. They are Indy 500's, 325's.
My stainless bros resonator lasted one track day and 4 roll races before it blew all the packing out through the welds. It actually blew apart. V-band from headers to full 3 inch Corsa exhaust. I now run 2 bullet style resonators welded into the x pipe and it's way better.
These are crazy light weights here. My 21 PP Premium car with Recaro seats , Whipple Gen 5, oversized HE, me (180lbs) and full tank was 4230lbs!! :( Still went 138mph on 93 in the 1/4 though but I can't imagine if I weighed 3500ish LBS!!!
