Hamza why didn't you tell us 43 posts ago that you went in and made changes via Forscan? You made it sound like there was something wrong with you system when in fact you were the cause of the problem.
Because other people on Instagram have had this issue without forscan changes. I’ve made several updates with the forscan changes and never had a problem. Sorry I didn’t disclose that before

I updated my 2018 Ecoboost (and my wife's 2017 Explorer) both updated fine and haven't skipped a beat.I was going to do it Friday but I just read it bricked someone's unit after a week of use. Want to see more reviews.
MY17 APIM does support 3.4. I successfully updated my MY16 APIM using the instructions referenced here ...
Dogstar you basically jail broke your Sync 3. Fortunately for you all went well, I’m glad it did. But everyone might not be as lucky as you. On top of that, if just if, something goes wrong with your system, it’s going to cost a pretty penny to replace it. But you knew that when you did it.

Agreed. Out of warranty so I knew risk before upgrading. Diligently pre-read forums/threads beforehand. Offered reasonable peace of mind to proceed given numerous positive results with minimal concern. Interface improvements definitely worth it.
