Anyone update to the new sync update

I just got back from a month in Germany (work) and noticed the banner saying update was completed before I took her for a spin. God I missed my car sooo much!!

Version 3.3 Build 19052 is the latest. Was hoping you might have been the first to get 3.4 from Ford.

Yep back till I do 1.5 years in Colorado in March. Keeps the miles down on the car for sure and I get hotel points like crazy so vacations with the wife are always a pampering event lol.

Is 3.4 causing the issues then? I'll be sure to update if mine stops working in the next week or so. Admittedly, I don't use the sync features much, I tend to just drive and crank out those smiles per mile.

No issues that I know of. A number of members have already downloaded 3.4 using files provided by Breeves. I'm in no rush either so will wait until Ford releases it.

I just went on FordPass and did not have that message. I did get an email about an update but Ford did not indicate the version and build numbers. I went on Ford Owner and did not have an update. If you still have the message can you please screen print and post it?

3.4 is only for cars equipped with the new APIM 2019+ I’m starting to think we got 3.4 on the 16-17 and that’s what’s causing the issue.

I do not believe that you would be able to download 3.4 even if it was avaiable if you did not have the correct APIM for it. That said where did you get the download that is causing the problem? There is still no indication that Ford released 3.4 to the public. Even it it were available the download site wouldn't let you as your car has the older system (unless you updated the APIM).
