Anyone update to the new sync update

I had to click email , and follow like 2 links to be able to download update. It says only available through download onto computers then usb stick. No OTA

OK, so I noticed that you have a MY2018. Based on when it was built you could have the earlier APIM or the current one. Can you please go to the Sync screen in your car and let us know what version and build # you have?

Yeah, trying to figure out what both of these guys are doing. I just checked Ford Owner and Google. There has been no official release of 3.4.

Ford sent an email on December 3rd saying "transform your commute with the new Sync 3 update" so i clicked the link, followed directions and downloaded the update. Never said what version it was, but It updated my system. next day I turn the car on and its bricked.

That's the same e-mail I got. Honestly I think it was just a reminder to let everyone with Sync 3 know to update it.

Had Sync 3 3.0. Never got the chance to see what it updated it to.
