Anyone seen recent news stories on the border issues, immigration and how many illegals are penned up?

Especially the main stream press was making a huge deal about this 6-12 months ago. They were pretending like the problem was new under Trump as well. Remember all that? Remember the fake picture of the kid crying, etc.? Under Obama it was just as bad, but that was always ignored in the press.

It's so quiet lately. I wonder why that is?

No it wasn't. Please stop blatantly lying and just repeating MULTIPLE TIMES PROVEN FALSE INFO.

Obama's administration was taking kids from families when there was a risk of danger for the kid to be with the adult. Trump's is separating everyone. Doing so cause a massive slowdown in processing and created issues with reconnecting the families again as there were massively more cases to process and now not enough people to do it, so separating the families is what CAUSED the problems. THAT was the news.

Lets also not forget the Obamas took action to prevent the kids from getting sexually assaulted by ICE, Trumps has flatout ignored those reports.

Also as to WHY you don't hear about it anymore (Ya know, aside from the recent new that Trumps admins were ignoring sexual assault reports)? Because ALL media is about views. Welcome to modern times. What gets views now? Impeachment. The fact I have to explain this shows how little you understand about what generates revenue for news organizations and media of any type. The same thing that generates the owners of M6G money. Views and ads. Same reason you see so little new about the multiple protest over seas. Americans don't give a shit so it doesn't sell so there is no point in covering it.

This reads like satire. As of Sept 10th there are still over 50K people in detention centers.

The average number of people in detention centers has been growing year over year since 2016, and the cost of ICE has grown more in 2yrs than it had in the previous 8yrs. The Est number of illegal immigrants has been going down since ~2007. Bush has had more of an impact on that than Trump or Obama. The recent spike is due to people from Central America, not Mexico. Why are people leaving CA? destabilized Govt's finally breaking down. Who destabilized them? The US, mostly under Reagan.

Trump had all 3 branches of government prior to last November and they didn't get it done. They didn't need any help from the democrats at that point and didn't do it. So to blame them now makes no sense. He did manage to get the corporate tax cuts done without help from the Democrats before that though go figure?
