Finally got some detailed done after about a month of not being able to. The Turtle Wax Ice line is really nice, cheap, and easy to use.

Put on my Big worm Fender Graphix and painted my calipers with G2 paint in preparation of the Steeda springs and shocks I hope to have installed after this hurricane mess.

Extended the wires to the control unit of my Power Magic Pro, then moved the unit into the glove box. This is so I can switch parking mode on or off from the driver's seat.

Recording darkness in the garage may have been running down the battery, so the dealer gave me a new one on this brand new car.

Put the dual tone horn in. Tried it without removing the airbox first but you'd need midget hands and an extra joint to get the lower horn's nut on. Much easier with the airbox out (which is HUGE).

bought a manual transmission magnetic gray pp1 401a with magneride, active exhaust, and recaros monday. ordered it 4-19. since then put 300 miles on it. averaging about 11mpg. i lean more motoman than manual for break in theory.
added 3d maxpider kagu (wtf) floormats front and back, spare tire jack and lug wrench, bmr cjr002 jacking rails, ford dual tone horn, rokblox flaps front and back, california pony cars hood struts, and a ford performance air oil separator.

Put some sound deadening in the trunk, and signed for the FedEx packages from Steeda for the h-pipe and stop the hop kit. Also received my custom color G2 caliper paint, but it doesn’t appear to be even close to the right color.

Ran with one of those on the way home from San Antonio today - Loop 130 was frustrating us both. Speed limit is 85 on this toll road around Austin, but there was way too much traffic, and the traffic was going 70-ish for no real reason. He sounded good from time to time, but was about as quiet as me for most of the ride. Booo....

That was one of the decent parts of the drive home today. Had the trip mileage up to nearly 30mpg which would be a new record for this car. Sitting nearly still in Waco for over 20 minutes killed that trend, and a 30mph headwind from a thunderstorm put the last nail in the coffin - ended up a touch over 28. Still, I enjoy the hell out of this car on road trips. Devours interstate like nothing - happy at 80, happier at 90, would probably do 100 all day long if given the chance.
