Do not overthink the problem B/A is correct IMO. I would SLOWLY drill out the bolt till it gives up and pulls free, Check the hole and retap to the correct size. If you don't know what you are doing go to a good parts store (NAPA) and have someone check it out to see what bolt replacement you...
From what I am reading it appears BMR is no longer the company they once were. I have used their parts in the past and had good luck with them. Today's world has changed drastically and many of the workers just don't give a dam and that is why you get parts that do not fit. I hope you guys...
Well for one thing it's not the car as they are drilled and welded in a fixture or jig. This is an easy fix for you. If you are keeping the suspension pieces, I would carefully mark the hole locations then file and elongate the holes in the new brackets to align with the factory holes. Install...
In the last picture the splashed oil is acuminating on the outside of the pipe toward the tire not toward the pinion. So I'm thinking the oil is not from the rear but a CV Joint. As stated above the chance of vibration is greater at the CV Joint. JMO.
I agree 100% with HKusp. You have your engine apart and you are right there with everything exposed. If you are going to keep the car I would install all relevant parts so everything is new and will wear and work together.
You have $7477.00 in parts before you even begin the build. God knows what the intensive labor will cost. And when you are done should you choose to race the car. Body flexing will rear it's ugly head resulting in the carbon fiber cracking. (Roof) Just a thought here. Proceed with caution . Yes...
I have had R1 Concept E-Line series Drilled and Slotted rotors on my last three GT's. 2015, 2018, and, 2020 GT Premiums. I have had ZERO issues with these rotors. No noise, no excessive dust, and no rust. My braking performance has increased and I love them. When my 2024 arrives I will be...
Recently turned 80, retired Law Enforcement, spent many moons on the highway, made many assholes a perfect day. But if you were decent you got a break.
Giving the door a shot with your fist is NOT the smartest thing you can do. The metal is so thin you will wind up with small dents that will really piss you off.
Well if it were mine I would go crazy knowing it did not match and I would bite the bullet and have it repaired properly. But if it doesn't matter that much just live with it. Good luck!
Looking at the rear end shot the door is definitely a different color than the front fender and 1/4 panel. The door is going to have to be resprayed and blended.
