Got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S installed to replace the Goodyear all seasons it came with.

Funny, I was just looking at those today. We have the same MAXpider product in our DD/RT, including their really nice folding cargo matt, I've been tempted to use them in the Mustang, and my new '19 didn't have any rear mats so I was kind of shopping.

I got these in and swapped out the chrome GT/5.0 and front pony (the latter from my previous ride). Sort of a PITA (especially removing to gunk from the OEM side badges, but the results are pretty terrific, especially on Orange Fury Went with matte black, matches my M600 wheels, and the GT has a nice contrast against the glossy rear panel.

These are nice for 3rd party too, they used 3M tape and both the 5.0 and GT had alignment pins (I see quite a few non-Ford products don't), and the 'dot' is a nice epoxy colored fill (vs. a sticker). $34 for the set from Amazon, and even a Prime item so they came in day

Also go these in, my plan is to swap out my red lugs (same Monster product), but oddly, they look pretty decent, they seemed to have taken on more of an orange tint (I think it's an optical +contusion+ ) I will probably still do it, just to change things up a bit.

Side note: I picked up the lugs as an Amazon warehouse item, which are like return items, but they were listed as "New", so like a return where the packaging might be a little beat up, but clearly these were never opened, so they were $32 vs. $72 !!

Oh yeah, I also ordered another Doorman gasket to plug up the hole that will be left when I remove the sound tube (again), and just an FYI, the part is currently $1.91, good time to score one if you're thinking about de-tubing

If the color mismatch is the only thing that is a problem you could always wrap the entire car.

Ugh, that does look off. Did they use the right paint? I would not be very happy either.

Was done at a Ford dealership so I would have assumed they could pull this off.


Wrong.....

For more context - the hood is the factory painted. Everything else was repainted but that, the mirror covers, the roof and left fender.


Looking at trading it for this now, but it kind of depends on how much and how fast I can get my diminished value settlement
