8”! We got around 5-6 just on the other side of the Connecticut before it turned to friggin rain. Now it’s a nasty sloppy mess and temps are expected to plummet...

Back to the topic at hand, ‘15 Tacoma 4X4, last of the 1GR-FEs!!
Welcome to Vermont my friend... I've had snow on the ground here for 2 weeks now.

I always had this silly idea of an AWOL Mustang. S197, slight raise in the suspension, 17" wheels, 28" tires, tune, brakes, rally grill guard with a light bar, and drive that in the winter. But I have a truck I'm super happy with now.
That would be cool looking in a redneck sort of way, but I like vehicles that turn. I wouldn't want to lift a Mustang. They are already too high in my opinion. Maybe for a Challenger that's already AWD it would be good on the snowy days.

I will still drive the Explorer if there's a ton of snow. It is fun to blast around with 4WD on those days. Normal days an SUV tends to bore me way too much. There are only a handful of days a year where 4WD is helpful here. The highway dept. is pretty efficient at getting the roads cleared.

Agreed...what the hell? Well it's the middle of November here and it was 19 this morning. These are full on middle of winter temps, not fall temps.
It's been cooler than usual here too - I think it was 5 this morning. The weather guy was saying our temps are about 20 degrees below the average.

Says the guy running all season tires!!! :punch:

At least I still think so...?
Mich A/S 3's are still pretty awesome for all-seasons. Mine are fairly worn out though, will get replacements as soon as I can afford them.

I'm driving my mustang with summer tires on. :sun:
When I had a regular GT I drove it year 'round. I'm trying to preserve the GT350 a little longer by avoiding some of the salt. I do have snow tires on the GT350, so it's ready to roll.

Raptor in anything serious. Our XFR does surprisingly well with winter tires. The other four sports cars get used a little for fun when conditions are nice, but otherwise it’s time for snowmobiles!

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
E550 4Matic is my daily driver. That thing goes anywhere I ask it to go, in any kind of crap weather.

Weather was great in the PNW yesterday so seized the opp and drove both GT350's, '66 and '17. Some quality time after installing light fixtures all morning (honey-do list). When things aren't so nice, 2009 Ranger 4x4.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
Southeast Kansas when pavement is dry and all that chat they put down here in town is pushed to the side of street they put down when even the slightest snow fall the GT 350 otherwise its snuggles in the carport with the cover and a battery tender on it. Then drive the old 2005 Buick Century a GM dealership owner sold me for $1,642.00 with 189 thousand miles. Runs great, every thing works on it and doesn't use a drop of oil. When you shut it off after driving rear main drops one drop of oil. Transmission is good also. Got it at a steal last winter and he put new brakes and tires on it. No dents, few hail spots (who cares)

You southern folk, don't rub it in. Yes yes, we know, we've heard it all before. :ontheloo:

"I'm driving my GT350!"
"Stop bitching, move to a different state!"
"How could you not drive your car all year around? You don't deserve a GT350!"

Lick my beer battered Milwaukeean balls.

Anyway, where's the snow warriors?
You guys in the Midwest will apparently beer batter just about anything.

Oil change in the GT350 done last week. Washed and lightly waxed yesterday. Just waiting for all the nooks and crannies to dry before placing the cover on and hooking up the charger. The next 5 months are going to suck.
