Yes much slower, I can't believe the difference my Roush SC made. Instant 170+ horse increase. But I also don't DD it either. If I were driving it daily I'd just leave the tune on it though. It's not slow just not as fast...lol. But I also wouldn't put a SC on it if warranty was a huge concern. Once you put that much horse on you can't keep your foot out of the gas.

My car is not a DD just a weekend toy so I went SC'ed. I have 4 vehicles 2 of OEM turbos ( a Ford & a BMW). I am not a fan of the turbo, I don't like the turbo lag ,,,my opinion only. I have a factory SC vehicle and love it!!!! But my GT, if I was and when I did, the best that car ran day in and day out was just with a CAI and a Brenspeed 91tune. Good power, smooth predictable driving at all RPM's. Don't get me wrong love my SC'er but if I were to DD, CAI & a good tune from a reliable vender. That's just my opinion.

Did you have reliability problems? Something annoying on the street or in traffic? Just curious.

I would turn a station wagon into something most people wouldn't consider good for dd'ing lol

Jvandy50...No the car runs fantastic with the Roush, but it wants to go and go fast. In fact once you go FI you'll be having to spend some $ on getting it hooked up. You can literally smoke the tires off through 3 gears and get some spin into 4th. I guess what I'm trying to say is the system you chose is only the beginning in cost. Suspension and tires will be next to make it handle like a DD should.

I DD my Paxton equipped S550. It's starting to get cold here in Maryland but I still plan on driving it through the winter since I have to. I plan on buying some Nokian Hakkapalitta R2 winter tires soon.

Mine's an auto I drive daily. I drive in the rain all the time here in Florida and it's not an issue. If I put it in snow/wet mode I can floor it without the tires breaking loose.... If I turn off the nannies though..... I can break the tires loose flooring it at 50mph....

Warranty didn't mean much to me, it was important to my wife. The fact that we could walk into a dealer and drive out with a 670hp monster was pretty awesome. I originally wanted to Paxton my 2014 but the mt-82 sucked to get into 3rd gear, it had 3.73's, and it just needed too many supporting mods to put down the power. Once I drove the 2015 there was no question. And Roush REALLY goes above and beyond to take care of their customers.

Why wait...I put a whipple on with 500 miles on my car:headbang:
LOL pretty much in the same boat. I have 460 miles on mine and the Whipple is already ordered. Although I do kind of blame you. Had I not read your threads about the Whipple, I would not have jumped on that one so quickly when it went on sale. So way to go.. thanks for making me broke good sir! lol I am suuuure I will not regret it tho :)

I bought my 15 GTPP in July and didn't intend to do forced induction until warranty was over. Well it's up in winter storage in the garage and Whipples went on sale 15% at Lethal Performance Dec 17 and the 23rd and I could wait anymore. Kit was ordered Dec 17 and I've been busy disasembling to ready it for the blower to go on when it arrives.

To me Whipples R&D with the S550 is top notch and OEM in appearance and function. The in house tune is built and developed and tested extensively by a Ford programmer and to me that means spot on drivability and drive trane security in mind.

LOL Awesome man. I just did the saaaaaame thing. Car came in from order November 12th... Debated about warranty.. but that dam 15% off sale hit and here I am waiting on my Whipple... I can't wait. There seems to be a ton of very good FI systems for the Coyote. I liked everything about the Whipple, and the 15% off sealed the deal. Lethal's customer service is pretty awesome too. Cool people to deal with.

This... I DD my whippled 15' as well.. It's more enjoyable now being blown - Just puts a long.. No effort needed, ever...

And when someone wants to play... They take their ball and go home.

Makes merging onto freeways an absolute pleasure..
