Steeda has a great story, $899 for their drilled/slotted rotors. GIRO slotted rotors, about $1,000. I used them on a Porsche car and liked them. Then I see STOP TECH at $360...then I see POWERSTOP sold by American Muscle, Item # 408122, $453 for drilled/slotted rotors including pads and hardware, $453? Too good to be true?

Thanks for your input, POWERSTOP prices are so right, 1/2 of what Steeda and GIRO want to charge me...and for $453.00, they include track pads and stainless steel shims for heat dissipation. I use titanium shims, supposedly the best material.

+1 on the clear on the hats.
I did not and they rusted after a year.
Cleaned the rust, sprayed the hats black, and was good to go.

The price difference is probably two piece versus one piece designs.

Actually on the reverse cooled rotors the drilled does help cooling.

Steeda 2 piece rotors are a performance-tested product.
I've got the Steeda 2 piece on the front of my car and they are well worth the money.

The link above for an example is for 2019 PP1 brakes. Lifetime warranty on rotors for warping, cracking and defects. You can choose semi metallic or ceramic pads.

Lets be serious how many people track their car? If your a track enthusiast you’ll have an entirely different set up for your pads and rotors but for the other 99% quality drilled and slotted rotors will more than exceed your needs.

🙋‍♂️ present

True statement though...if you don't plan to track your car, there is zero need to get $1000 rotors. Street driving does not see nearly the same abuse.

OP, you bought a 350R; I hope and pray you do track it, as intended.

i would look into performance friction discs, two piece design, improved braking and reduce
weight over stock dis, reducing unsprung weight. Matching pads, good to go!.

Look into the Baer Eradispeed. I know quite a few people who track with these. They are slotted and cross drilled and you save over 30lbs in rotational mass, over 22lbs just for the front.

I know the consensus is that you track only with full rotors or just slotted. However, tell that to the countless Porsche and BMW M guys that track their cars with OEM brakes that are cross drilled. In fact when I had my 911 guys would switch out their PCCBs and go to the non PCCB rotors and calipers just to save their expensive PCCB rotors. If you get a rock stuck in there they are history and you are out of nearly $10k.
