Not sure why everyone rags on the PP wheels I love them other than cleaning. Love the staggered look. Only thing I don't like about them is the tires. Why they put a Summer tire on this is a head scratcher.
1. cleaning them
2. black wheels tend to blend into the darkness of the wheelwell instead of accenting the car in a way that suggest that motion is, ummm, possible.

Unless you're a crash-and-burn rallye driver, performance driving is reserved for warmer weather, so you might as well optimize the tires a bit for that if you're going to call the package "Performance".

Jamo - you probably need to drive a PP-equipped car. Pay attention to the way it actually feels as you drive it, because the subjectives that are too hard to describe to another person could be an important part of your decision.

I may be off base on this but I thing the base GT is quicker 0-60 than the PP. With the shorter rear diff gears, the PP requires that you hit 3rd or hit the rev limiter to get to 60. The base can get there in 2nd. One additional shift is lots in a 0-60.

Important for the guy focused on comparing magazine numbers, but still slower in the real world, unless the race stops at 60mph.

That's not true. 0-60 can be done with the 2nd gear on PP. The track app is not accurate.

I've never tested a nuclear bomb, but I know how the physics of them works. Just because I can't drive a manual transmission doesn't mean I don't know how cars work.
True, though one would think that a guy who knows how a diff works to that level of detail, would know one needs to use both their left and right foot to drive a manual - even if one can't actually drive a stick.

No offense meant. I love your posts and as I've said before, I bet you are a great guy in the real world.

Dead Serious... You're telling me they couldn't have put an option for some Pirelli P Zero Nero A/S or some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's? Yeah they could have for us that have a winter or colder winter temps. I live in Oklahoma and I could have all 4 seasons in one week. I don't live up north and have my igloo plan with my winter tires with studs stored at my local rubber peddler, ready to change out for the season. hahaha... SMH...
