My airbag warning light came on and stayed on. I took it in to the dealer this morning and they found the wire harness on the side curtain airbag handn't been fully seated. They snapped it tight and the light went off. Seems to be resolved.
I have Ceramic Interior in my '15 and I love it. I do get the blue dye transfer from my jeans occassionally but i have some Armorall cleaning wipes in the car and it come right off.
I may be off base on this but I thing the base GT is quicker 0-60 than the PP. With the shorter rear diff gears, the PP requires that you hit 3rd or hit the rev limiter to get to 60. The base can get there in 2nd. One additional shift is lots in a 0-60.
Yes, its ceramic. I really prefer two tone over single color interior. I have found that you really have to stay on top of it to keep it clean! But I am very happy with it.
Thanks guys, it was a beautiful day for driving in a beautiful area. When I saw the horse sculptures in the round about island I had to stop for as picture. But that car looks good anywhere!
I bought some Armorall cleaning wipes( like baby wipes) that I keep in the glove box. I clean my seat bolster with them every couple of days, works great.
I've tried it several times with times varrying from 4.8 to 5.5. I don't know if it's just me but I don't seem to be able to get the rear tires to hook up very well, seems like I'm spinning forever.
At 45 mph I am usually just lifting the accelerator enough to grab 2nd gear and all I can hear is the exhaust note. I have no idea if mine whistles or not!
When you see the two cars together you can really see the common design cues, many of the people that saw them commented that the s550 looks like a "modern version" of the '69.
I took my magnetic GT to 'Cars and Coffee' on Saturday and parked it next to a dark gray '69 Mach1. It was a great contrast between classic and modern. It was a real hit and drew a crowd.
