My replacement vehicle (2016 GT) has the vibration issue 50MPH+ as well. I test drove the car yesterday, but wasn't able to go over 45MPH+ due to traffic. I drove it today for 15+ min on the highway (60-70MPH) and it's almost as bad as my old 2015 EB. The difference is that my old 2015 EB vibrated while accelerating and cruising over 50MPH (pedals, floor, shifter, handbreak, steering wheel), the GT only vibrates while cruising over 50MPH (steering wheel, pedals, floor).

I'm going to go ahead and buy some lotto tickets.
My sympathies, man. That's what I call bad luck.

a dealer should take the worst one they have, and the best one they have, and start swapping parts onto the bad one until its fixed.

Hi guys!
Been following this thread for a while and I think it’s time to tell my story

So to make an incredibly long story short I’ll start by saying I have a 2015 GT Premium automatic.
The vibration start at 55 mph goes down a bit and peaks at 75 mph.

Started occurring around 5000 miles. Made my first appointment in July, had to wait three weeks and been going back and forth to the dealer since then.

I have been lucky with my dealer though since they acknowledge the problem quick (but I have been paying for rentals the entire time)

So far they have done the following:
-Re balanced the wheels
-Replaced differential assembly
-Replaced drive shaft
-Replaced the rear axle shafts
-Tried a different set of wheels and tiers

Can also add that last time when they had the car for 9 days I got it back with a dent and a sandblasted windshield. And since I have put 6000 more miles on the car now I actually think this is the reason I now have rattling sound from the interior in three different places.

I’m really close to process this to be a lemon law car but have been trying to reach FORD in advance to see if they want to make a settlement before I process everything. Been trying to reach Michele Paramore who is a regional customer service manager, been calling her more than 30 times over the past three weeks and she answer one time.
Don’t know if this is out of ignorance or if they have enormous amount of calls but anyway it doesn't make me feel better. It kind of builds the anger up even more. Especially since you have been dreaming about a Mustang for the last 15 years and been saving for the last 5 years.

What do you guys think I should do? Do you have any direct numbers with anyone at ford?

Wow, they replaced all that and it never fixed the issue? Could be some of the new parts were bad too. Lots of people reported that when Ford swapping out drive shafts it would help some but not totally eliminate it. Have to wonder if some of these new parts are not right to start with.

And what's strange to me is that some of these cars are vibration free until they get a bunch of miles on them (like yours at 5000 miles). What's changing in the driveline with mileage that would cause a vibration to start? I would think maybe the way the differential gears are wearing ... don't know what else it could be.

I feel the vibration in the steering wheel, and in my seat, but not on the gear lever. What does this tell us? Only 1500 miles. Could it be the new tires?
Probably tires in your case... make sure they do a road force balance.

Yep, and to add ... if a tire has a bad belt it will still balance out on the normal spin balancer, but still cause vibration on the road. The road force balancer will find problems like that.

Traded my lemon for Competition Orange juice. On the way home tonight, it started humming and vibrating around 65-70-ish mph. Some straight BS luck.

Hey guys, I think my car is developing the same issue. It's a 2016 Mustang GT Auto. The car is two weeks old and this is totally unacceptable. I took it to the dealership today and the service guy said that's normal! I spoke with the manager and he told me to bring it back on Thursday for further inspections because I have other problems which are paint imperfection and vibration starts right over 55 mph. I uploaded couple videos on Youtube. Let me know what you guys think.

I just posted my issue with the clanking sound when shifting gears. However, I'm experiencing the same vibration issue over 55 mph! I wonder if that's a related problem! Any tips guys when I take the car on Thursday? Thanks in advance for the valuable information.

Well, I finally took initiative and had the car put up on a lift. Look at what we found:

After reindexing the shaft at the rear flange and aligning the yellow marks, vibration is completely gone!!!

I finally enjoy driving the car like I did when first purchased it.

Thanks 888mustang and all others who suggested this!
I am printing this off and taking slam to my dealer. Right now.
