Got my car back from my dealer today, they did absolutely nothing(except check tire balance and eyeball the drivetrain). Vibration still persists. He explained to me that he had his tech drive another 2015 with 2000 miles like my car and it had the vibration also, then he said he was going to compare it to a new 15 and see if it does it but could only find 2016's on the lot and that it had vibration but not as bad as mine (lol). I asked him when i got there if he called the tech hotline and he said no, i asked did you check the driveshaft runout and alignment or take anything off the car, he said no the techs get paid flag pay not hourly cant have them pulling tires off and pulling driveshafts out and checking runout blah blah. I asked how do you know the car is normal then, because ford has not issued a tsb for it and based on driving the other 2015 and the 2016 that had vibration like mine but not near as bad.
I asked why did it only start doing it around 1600 miles then? Surely thats not normal. "I dont know i wasnt there"
I explained how the lady i talked to on the phone from ford customer service today said that it was not normal, he said she doesnt work on cars every day.
I said this is not over and i will be back at the end of the week.
When i was leaving he said and i quote, "Its a beautiful car, if its gonna break its gonna break just run it" and also "I dont think we hit the nail on the head on this one" I did not respond to that as i was already pissed off after a long day at work.
Ford lady also told me to try another dealer if they tell me this is normal, I really REALLY do not want to have to play cat and mouse i do not have time for this bullshit.
I explained to him that i WILL be back and this WILL be fixed, and if not then the dealer WILL buy the car back from me one way or another.
Advice on which way i need to go with this?
