I have a 2015 GT with PP. I bought the car because I know cars. I've raced cats and built cars. I know when something's wrong with my car. Also, I apologize for my cursing but I am at wits end with the disrespect from these 'representatives'.
Something has to be done. I'm going to post this across all facets of social media till I get attention.
I can feel your frustration. Get one of the Ford Reps here on the site to escalate your problem for you. I would try to find a different dealership too. This is a pretty common issue from what I've read, so Ford should know what the cause and fix should be for everyone I would hope.

email from my tech.....
''FROM WHAT MY SUSPENSION TECH TOLD ME, IS THAT THE NEW MUSTANGS ARE GOING TO DRIVE A LOT DIFFERENT THAN PREVIOUS MODELS. IT HAS ALL NEW/DIFFERENT SUSPENSION FROM FRONT TO REAR. YOU'RE ALSO GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE MORE OF A VIBRATION AND RATTLE BECAUSE OF THE CONVERTIBLE TOP AS OPPOSE TO A HARD TOP. "
I've had my 2015 GT up to 120 MPH and it's super smooth at any speed. If service departments are claiming they all do this, they are flat wrong and don't know jack about this car.

That's what I'm trying to do!! Hahaha
I just don't see how it's fair for us to spend $45k and then spend $1k to replace a DS?!
Why can't/won't they chk balance and adjust accordingly??
Or at the very least reimburse people for the money they HAVE to spend to do their jobs??
Don't know if you have read through this whole thread, but some guy have had this fixed by Ford replacing the whole differential. As time goes on, Ford should know exactly what causes this vibration. It could also be that there is more than one cause ... I sense this is not a simple issue for them to figure out right away.

I am a auto tech with 30 years experience and had the same problem.Read post # 213 in this thread . Had my drive shaft replaced and my car is good now after I lined up the paint match marks , it is hard to believe that changing the clock position on the drive shaft fixed it Yes the original drive shaft paint marks were lined up... Just wondering if changing the clock position on the original drive shaft would have fixed it?

I wish I knew what the answer was. My car was out of service for 24 days. I had two drive shafts installed, new half shafts, and the vibration was still there. In the end, I was one of the group that had the whole differential replaced. That cured it. The answer has to be there. Rather than throw various part changes and/or excuses at us, Ford needs to focus on this problem and resolve it.

I was lucky that I had a dealership that stood behind me and yelled louder than I did and of course the BBB auto line and its help.

My car seems to have a vibration at anything over 60mph. I havent read the entire thread but is this issue truly focused on the range from the original post or are others experiencing this in the range I'm seeing. I took the car to 6800rpm and it shook pretty bad; didnt get worse past 60mph (4th gear pull) but it was rough all the way up.

My vibration began around 60 up to 70-75. The vibration was so intense that I felt it through the steering wheel, my seat, doors, etc.

Touché.

Sounds like dealership is trying to blow smoke up the tailpipe. They are just guessing; like my dealership said to me when they finally fixed my car, it's all trial and error. It's a learning experience on their side. At least mine was honest about it.

My DS paint marks were all lined up and I did not try indexing from there before ordered new DSS DS as I also had a buzzing type noise that seemed to eminate from the hanger bearing thus thought would get rid of the whole mess of two piece DS. And with the new DSS DS buzzing noise was immediately gone plus 95% of vibration. I am fussy! My vibration was 55 to 70 mph (driving range disgusting) with some lessening on up to 100 mph. I know others have replaced with OEM DS and not helped but who has replaced with custom shaft and seem results besides myself?? I know the custom DS people say there are all kinds of these vibrating shafts out there but then that can be self-serving. And of course the majority of owners do not belong to this group so we really do not know just how many cases there are out there. What really bugs me is I have never had any other vehicle HP or not from 54 Ford 352 / 360, Boss 429 to 427 Comet Cyclone to 08 GT Vert vibrate or act like this 15 Mustang, NEVER! Ford engineers have to get with it and figure this out!!

That's a good question. And personally, I don't want a 'sports car' that is made for the track to shake so bad at 85mph that it feels like it's going to fall apart!!
My buddy's 85 GT has zero vibration. I wonder why that is??! Hahaha
File with the BBB autoline. They will assign an individual to interface between you and Ford and if Ford refuses to help, you can take the matter to arbitration. It's free to file and can be used in conjunction with your State's Lemon Law or outside of it.

In my case, I escalated the issue through Ford and when that response was lacking, I filed with the BBB. Then Ford corporate started to move mountains to fix the car. If you need help with the process, just pm me.

Ford CSM called yesterday, thanks Deysha. We made another appointment at another dealership for this Monday. Hopefully we can get this resolved. Not sure what my issue is, engine seems to run fine, but yesterday lifting the hood, you could see the engine cover vibrate, you could also see the hood supporting rod vibrating, and the hood itself. That's what I feel through the car while I'm driving it.

Your vibration issue sounds like it's motor related, while this thread is focused on vibration caused by the car moving down the road, and vibration caused by the drive train and wheels rotating. Dealer needs to do a full engine diagnostic test and see if there is misfire issue.

The service department told me that they can feel the vibration "but it is not bad enough yet". I am at a loss. Maybe the one piece DS is the answer to remove my frustration and anger over this issue. I just don't want to resent the car or stop driving it. Everyone who rides with me notices the vibration.

Is there anything that Ford will do about this? The car has been available for purchase for over 6 months and it would seem that the issue should be quick enough to track and resolve. I am starting to believe that they don't have a "cost effective" resolution and as such they can keep putting this off until people just resolve it themselves. Either way, it is flat not worth my blood boiling much longer.

My halfshafts are still not in. Now, after a month on backorder, I'm starting to get paranoid... worried that replacing these will not solve the problem. If I do have to have the diff done, god only knows when I might get this mess fixed up, if the diff ends up being back ordered as well. I'm trying not to be pessimistic, but...

All this is to funny. I dont get it, seems like a problem troubling alot of cars. After escalating my issue up twice and going back to my dealer for them to say we dont know what to do but ford will repaint your bumper. Im going to file a complaint with BBB when I get back in town. All performance cars do thisbdoesnt cut it for me I bet the boss, gt500, and new c7 on the lot ride smooth.
