That is a possibility that the hose clamp moved. SpeedFrk on here had his vibration come back too, and they balanced his with washers on the flange bolts, which should be a permanent fix.Thought the fixed it. Must have been a joke. Vibration is back and it's bad. I wonder if their hose clamp they installed to balance the shaft moved. Vibrates at 55-65 worse then before. lol. F*ck this car.
This may indicate that soft components of the drivetrain are misaligning over time due to wear. Moreover, many cars on this board were smooth as silk at day 1 and developed the vibration later (mine included), which overall supports this hypothesis.
My personal favorite suspect #1 is the rubber giubo behind the center driveshaft hanger bearing, or the hanger bearing itself (sometimes called a d.s. carrier bearing). Could be that flange runout/balance matching is only half the problem - more issues could be occurring at the front of the rear D.S. assy. also.
My advice is to definitely take it back in and have them look at it. They seem to be competent at least as far as recognizing a problem exists and taking steps to fix it, unlike some other dealerships (yes, I'm pointing at you, Galpin Ford of Los Angeles).
