V6 pros are cheaper, sounds better and with NA should have better refinement and longer life.

EB pros are more options, can be faster and a few more mpgs.

$22.4k out of door here.. But it doesn't really matter cuz now you can buy 15 V8 with 10-20k miles for $26k. All this bench racing is silly.. Mod for mod ecoboost will be faster. There is plenty of 1/4 mile time slips out there, and I still haven't seen s550 V6 in 12s running NA.
Dude yours is a manual V6 so that justifies the price for $22400 but EB for $24000 is some deal to beat. Going by the price mine is $25000 OTD with auto trany. 051a Package, reverse parking sensors. ! :D

your right I forgot to add the 3.55 gears. If you add the gears it adds the 501. I did it backwards. Difference in price is a wash with out the gears . Those 3.55 gears really help down the stretch and can be the difference at the end. Sound is what did it for me. Every review I read also said that the V6 feels more refined and is the quieter engine. That makes sense to me. I test drove an EB and to be honest it seemed the same as my v6 when I got it a few days later. Glad to see both sides have such passion for the car. But this is the v6 thread so V6 wins. You can go to the EB thread and claim EB wins..

I got my V6 manual for 23.3k OTD (didn't have tags, so could say -400 less? lol). I think that for this price, nothing out there gives you as much power stock for stock brand new.

Dat EB for 24k though... if that was OTD, I think Hig had the salesman held hostage at the dealership or something lol.

I got a break below invoice and student, LEO, and loyalty rebate IIRC.

We pay tag/tax after the sale in OK. Can't roll it in anymore. I bought mine to go fast, so auto and the seemingly standard backup sensors are really the only options.

Gears are unnecessary unless you get a bigger turbo (I went 3.55 with my 5558, mostly to help keep the converter in check).

I own a Mustang with each motor in the garage. I enjoy the tip in torque of the V6 but even with a tune my EBM would steam roll it every single time. That's tuned vs tuned.

The 6 should have been offered with a track pack for auto cross style racing, I think it would do well there.

Only thing I hate about v6 is ford didn't offer upgraded packages, buying everything separate is a pain and costs a lot more, $1500 for performance package wheel and tire kit, I paid $600 for subwoofer and audio upgrades, and to add leather aftermarket it's like 3k or something. and I want the cool pony lights on my mirrors :(

I also paid $24,155 for my EBM it's a manual so higdominator got a better deal than me mostly due to shipping to Germany tacking on some costs

They offered me a V6 at $23k even so there was anly $1155 price difference between them.
I was offered a GT @ ~$32k but a test drive in all three had me ordering an Ecoboost

wow I need to find where in Texas to go have a look myself.
Houston. I see them out at car meets all the time, the shop's name is LPF. There is also another shop here that is building twin turbo kits for the 3.7, the one I mentioned earlier, 550/450 to the wheels.

That's cool I have family there and have been planning on visiting. Might have to go pay them a visit to check it out.

I have no idea where you get your numbers from. Mine stickered at 27.5k. I paid 24k and change for an AT EBM. For $500 I think as running 12.5 with just a tune. For ~$1500 I was running 11.8:shrug:
Don't want to be rude but you must be in negative DA, etc. I had a 91 tune, CAI and there's NO WAY I'm dipping into the 12's.

I can show you x amounts of real life videos of EB with a 93 tune, bolts on with a IC and they will realistically run high 12's if that. My EB started to smoked, CEL for cyclinder misfire. Took off the tune, disconnected the battery and traded it in 2 weeks later.

You are giving the impression that any EB with a tune can run mid 12's and smoke a stock GT. Oh and add DR and then hit 11's as well closing in on the Hellcat's, GT500's.

Maybe your EB magically had extra HP from factory? Something but for most EB's that I know, it will take a hardcore E30 tune, IC, DP, CAI, Exhaust to dip into the 12's -mid 12's.. Heck, a bolt on GT with a tune, torque converter, DR exhaust is barely dipping into the mid 11's .

I get it , you have the hero time but it's just not the case in real world with most EBs. My EB felt quicker than the GT only from 2.5 -3k... after that the 5.0 kills it. EB is a fun car, but I hope folks aren't thinking, hey I too can tune my EB and run mid 12's.. cause if they do, they are in for a rude awakening.

Who is charging you $3k for leather??? Katzkin upgrade in my area is $1k, and it's much better than the stock leather seats.
