Yea the black tips look great. They're not glossy like in the pic vendors have. More like matte black. Here is a pic from a low angle:
My next step is to paint the base diffuser black or plasti dip.
 and they sound much better in person. I used my LG G3 camera for that video so the...
I've had Gibson since January. Yea for me it's one of the best sounding exhaust for the V6 I love it and I've had many compliments. The drone is there for sure and that's the only downside (I think around 1800-2000 rpm) but it doesn't bother me it's not bad at all and it really cannot be avoided...
My brother and I were reading about this because he has a GT and he was in the market for an exhaust. From what we understood there is not really a difference when it comes to performance. It comes down to sound. The H pipe is deeper and not raspy (like the 60s and 70s Mustangs). The X is more...
You have Solo catback? Did the GT one fit or did you have to modify it? I'm a big fan of Solo on the GT and I'd love to hear it on the V6.. please upload a video!!
I agree. I only run 93. I tried 87 and 91. It's just not the same. I can tell the difference and it's not placebo. The car does perform better with 93 and it gets slightly better MPG so it pays for itself.
No you can run 93. I think the manual says it recommends at minimum 87 or something like...
To each their own. There are many factors that could make the acceleration vary from one car to another (wheels and tires for example) but I'm satisfied with the acceleration for now and 0-60 in 5.3 seconds with only a catback and drop in filter so can't complain but yea to each their own. It's...
Yea lately I've been reading that MPT tune is the best tune available for the Cyclone so enjoy it man  but personally it's either I go all out and forget about warranty or I don't and stick with basic mods (no in-between) because I get 0-60 in 5.3 seconds so the only way it would be...
Exactly. That's what I meant. And even if you win the argument at the end it's gonna be after months of hassles and headaches and I don't want any of that. Besides like I said I'm very happy with my car (first Mustang I've ever owned so the power is more than enough for me for now). And honestly...
This is all pointless because it all depends on the dealer. Some are okay with mods and others are not. My friend went in for an oil change or something simple like that and the dealer put all the mods he had on his record. So it all depends on the dealer. Yes the law says they have to prove...
Yea I agree with @free avoid the hassles and headaches and just get a catback + K&N drop in filter and enjoy your car. The intake is just for sound and even the K&N drop in filter improves the sound (not as much as an intake of course but for the price what's not to love?). That's what I did...
Nice
Hmm.. lol. So what does that mean exactly?
If that's the case then yea go with silver. I thought maybe you're doing black and white like my friend did. But black definitely looks right to me.. like it came from the factory.
Yea I agree. Personally I think the intake is a waste of money unless you're buying it for the sound. I kept the stock airbox and installed K&N panel filter and even that improved the sound. So why do you prefer AFE or AEM over K&N? Is it because the K&N is an oiled filter? Oh and by the way...
Yea even though the quality is top notch they shouldn't cost that much, but honestly I use paddle shifters almost all the time so for me it was worth it.
