Look what I found! (on another forum...) It appears as though the company in question adding EB components to the 3.7 is supersixmotorsports!

I believe supersixmotorsport released a kit for putting ecoboost turbos on our 3.7

I think you guys are drastically overestimating just how little difference there is between the 3.5L and 3.7L. You're talking a different block since the 3.5L is Direct Injection, Different Pistons and rods (to change compression ration and do 3.5l v. 3.7l) You have less displacement because of thicker components and the difference in piston shape. Plus the 3.5L doesn't have intake injectors. (Plus most likely mount locations)

The benefit in a 3.5L Swap is the Direct Injection and piston shape. With the DI you can run far more timing which allows for much more power.

If you dgaf about that - Then just grab a 3.5L Exhaust manifold, coolant and oil piping, 2 Ecoboost turbos, an intercooler, BPV, and Mounts. Go to town. If you want to yank timing for more power inject methanol.

I've been wondering about this or a coyote engine swap. I just don't know them hurdles ahead of taking on a project like that

So the new Ford 3.5 eco-boost,has anyone dropped one into a new 15-17 V6?
Can it be done without extensive changes or is this more for a retro-mod application?

Putting it in is the easy part. It shares the same hard points as the n/a 3.7 for the most part. Tuning and electronics is going to be the tricky part.

Check out my "twin turbo v6 project" thread in the member's project section. I have puchased all of the hardware for an ecoboost twin turbo kit and just dropped it off (8/28/16) at Super Six Motorsports, so they can install everything. Expecting around a month before I receive the car back.. I will be posting videos and updates as I receive them...
