It's good software but it does have a learning curve.

is it though? :)
At WOT it is, some debate at cruise:wink:

Although one of the big name tuners who's tune I happen to have unlocked, they change the VVT in the cruise areas to make it be otto cycle.

The stock coyote cams are both fully retarded at cruise, which simulates the Atkinson cycle (high dynamic expansion ratio and low dynamic compression ratio). Ford once denied this iirc. I’ve also seen where tuners unnecessarily disable this. It does make tuning easier if you move the cams around less.

Went ahead and picked up a new laptop and pcmtec. Just need to order the device.

Going to let Juggernaut try to tune it and I’ll make a review on them down the line. Really not happy with them right now. Today is another day where I have not gotten any response from them. I don’t think I’m getting my money back on this one

My buddy tested a Chinese j2534 and it worked for about $30. Can’t guarantee longevity though and he said to immediately toss the virus laden software included with it.

So technically you could be out the door for under $200.
What cable do you think I should get?

PCMTec recommends the OBDX PRO FT because it has 64 bit support (https://obdxpro.com/product/obdx-pro-fx-ford-obd2-j2534-diagnostics-and-tuning/)

I also found this thing on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Jugger-J2534-Techstream-Programming-Diagnostic/dp/B07ZCC8QG9/

Cant really go wrong with the one that PCMtec recommends. I use mine a lot.

Does that one need to use x32? PCM Tec mentions that you might run into memory issues with x32 only devices.
