Scored one today, went by my servicing dealer and asked them. They kind of had this "oh shit" look on their face. Come to find out, they told me they had 3 hiding, 2 were for 2 very good customers who they were waiting to come in and pick them up. they sold me the other and told me to keep my mouth shut and this never happened lol.

I got wind of this when I was doing a restock order early on. I had my ford parts guy start snagging up all he could from dealers in the states surrounding us. That lasted us most of the shortage, but I'm down to 7 and I'm getting nervous. I hope they release some soon as I have not been able to find a steel core alternative unfortunately.

I’ve been using the K&N for years on track. Not sure why you don’t trust them?
I reached out to Mobil1, AFE, and K&N to ask if their filter designs are based on FL-2062 or FL-2087...Mobil1 and AFE said theirs are based on 2062. Mobil1 told me flat out they do not offer a filter application for the 2018+ GT350 AND GT500. Based on the initial responses from both, I don't think they were even aware of the difference. AFE said they're looking at designing an application for the 2087 design.

It's been over a week and K&N hasn't answered.

I'm sure any of these would be no worse than using a 2062. If I needed to change my oil now and didn't have a 2087 filter on-hand, I'd likely opt for the K&N based on the design. HP-7037.
Did you opt for the K&N HP-7037?

I had been using the PS-7037 version, but have switched over to the HP version. However, they appear to be identical to me. Only difference is the o rings are red on the HP version…

I’m going give the HP-7037 a try. The 19-20 GT350s and 500s have the same oil filter.

You are so correct, I went and looked at my filters that came with my car.
Guess that “CJ Pony Parts” isn’t correct in their listing.
