The K&N filter is some kind of hard material. Not paper like the OEM. I have been using for 2 years on track with no problem.i dunno if id uses a non metal lined one on a 500. The oil pump is larger volume.
Those filters have nothing to do with current GT350 or GT500….There is a chip shortage, try this

They are available. You have to go to your dealership and they may have one in stock. If they don't, they can probably round one up with a few phone calls and have one in a few days.I agree V
"Anyone else having an issue finding oil filter
FL-2087?
looking to do my oil change before putting the car away for the winter and I can’t find it anywhere.
plus, the prices I’ve seen seem kind of high to me compared to last year."
Did not see the model mentioned in there, crystal ball misplaced >>>> so I assumed.
Good luck on the hunt .
Didn't someone post here a while back….For us, the dealers have been the only ones who had. Some dealers depending on stock, are not selling them. They are keeping them for in house services.
That's not the ideal solution, but in a pinch I don't see what else you can do?Didn't someone post here a while back….
Brought my GT350 to a dealership for an oil change. Tech drained the oil and filter only to discover they didn’t have a filter in stock. Paraphrasing here…Do I just have them put the old filter back on or wait who knows how long for a new filter?
I can definitely see that happening. Hell at least they told him, I know a lot of places would not say anything and send you on your way.Didn't someone post here a while back….
