Congrats on the new purchase. Well my car is back on the road for the summer. So if you ever want to take a listen, PM me. I don't get notified when you reply and don't think of checking this particular part of the forum.
I have made out two times over on every ESP I've bought.
07 f250, 11 Explorer and a 15 F350.
Have one on my 20 Explorer which I'm sure I will make out since it is a 8yr/150k coverage.
Only one I'm unsure of is the gt350. Did this for peace of mind.. 25k engine, 7k trans... AC systems that...
Here is black book on it. It does not allow you to add value for the painted stripes or the CFTP. This is for the Texas area.

You can buy a new esp till 41 months, 41k. After that. You can buy a used vehicle esp. Little more money and starts 30 days after purchase. Also requires an inspection.
Whatever you do, don't sign anything that requires you to keep your mouth shut if they settle.
I've had a few small claims where they tried to settle the day of, sign a NDA in which I refused.. both times, they caved and still settled without signing.
F that crap that I can't speak about the...
Who cares if it is being sold by a Ford dealer. They also sell 3rd party plans as well. That has nothing to do with it. The ESP is backed by Ford.. meaning if the 3rd party company goes belly up, Ford will cover the remainder of the plans.
Wrong, an ESP is not an extension of the factory warranty nor does it cover all the parts the factory warranty covers. The ESP is also not a warranty, it is an insurance plan.. Extended Service Plan... not a warranty.
To add for clarification, I believe the OP should win and be covered.
"And MAYBE take Ford to small claims".
It's not Ford, it's Ford Protect. And you without question battle them.
You dont let these corporations dictate what they cover based on how they feel that day. Without question you fight then on this.
It might not be what you meant to say but my...
You are right, it's advertised as not an outdoor cover but the gt350 cover works just fine outdoors. Myself as well as a buddy both keep ours at our campground under cover outside for 5 months a year during the summer. It's waterproof and hasn't had any negative effects. Cover still looks...
This was actually mid west I believe, not up here in New England (also, wasn't mustangs, just total cars on lot). I've been watching a bunch of videos about Days on Hand inventory.. It's definitely back into a buyers market and not sellers.
This is happening everywhere and not just with the mustang. Was just watching a video post about a dealership that has about 80 new vehicles on their lot and through Nov 10th, have sold one vehicle... ONE.. and that's NEW and USED combined.
