I notice tramlining from center stripe on mediocre secondary country roads. Is this something to be concerned about? I bought the car used with 15k miles. 3 of the 4 tires have been replaced previously due to tire punctures so they are all uneven tread depth but wear seems even. At highway speed up to 85 car is stable and doesn't pull. There might be a very very little steering wheel movement. Steering feels much heavier then my '24 GT. I've only put on 600 miles so far. Tire air pressure affect it? Some mods were done, I guess it's possible they could have done some toe out to get some oversteer at one time?? It seems better going through corners then my '24, more confident inspiring. I started reading some of the different setups that are run. Wondering what stock is for GT Premium with only a strut tower brace? I think chassis wise the rest is stock.
I also have a '24 GT stock and it doesn't do this at all with 2k miles.
Thank you for any thoughts.

What tire size and brand/model are on the car currently? Wider, summer only tires will grab the road a little more thus the higher potential for tramlining. Alignment could also be the source of what you’re feeling/experiencing.

shouldn't have any tramling if everything is set correctly unless you have Cup tires.
Tires, alignment, mod issues.

Start with getting the alignment checked. We need to eliminate that variable and getting the alignment right will help your tires last as long as possible.

Alignments don't stick forever, they go out, need to be realigned periodically. If the front toe is too far toe out it will be darty. If the steering is heavy that's usually associated with toe in, so IDK where yours is at.

Tires matter a whole lot for tramlining. wider tires, older bald tires tramline more. Narrow new tires tramline less. If the front tires are different age/tread depth, I can see it pulling to one side occasionally.

I’d say have your alignment checked. It’s possible it’s the tires but if they’re still somewhat new, alignment would be my first thought

Tires, alignment, mod issues.
Ditto - Drove my Mach 1 home with the OEM Cup2 tires and you have to be aware of every road twitch. Swapped out more "appropriate" street tires and no concerns.

Definitely had this issue, but I had the Mach 1 HP 305 wide Cup 2's in the front.. I was in fear of getting a DUI running these tires. This won't apply to the OP as they are running 255 wide all season tires.. But alignment can contribute for sure.. I had both done at the same time (Upgraded to Michelin PS4S tires and alignment checked and corrected) and my car drives proper now. Alignment on mine mainly was the toe, it was out slightly both front and rear...

My set up is in sig. I rarely notice tramlining. Car is aligned to GT specs, with staggered PS4S tires, aftermarket springs and struts, and steeda stop the hop kit.

Only time I notice tramlining is under heavy throttle with an obvious imperfection to the road.

Only time i get tramlining is those middle dividers on roads like that, they intentionally add undulations and dips in them to keep people off them. Unnerving when i wasn't expecting it.

Exactly what I find, working as designed in a way, lol
