See this online, anyone know if this is a kit?

That shit there is custom. Pretty sure it's missing half a radiator.See this online, anyone know if this is a kit?![]()
Totally looks custom but I could be wrong…See this online, anyone know if this is a kit?![]()

THIS.I won't get to int until at least next year, but I plan to turbo my AWD Mustang and I really want to do a top mount single.
For one thing, I won't have room on the passenger side for a low mount turbo since there will be a driveshaft there.
But, I think I have come up with a new way to make a more elegant top mount single. There is a ton of space for the actual turbo where the stock airbox is. Of course a large intercooler is also not an issue and all of the cold side plumbing is pretty simple with a top mount. The trick as others have pointed out is the hot side/exhaust routing.
My concept is to use a stock style passenger side exhaust manifold and make a crossover pipe that goes under the engine and connects to a log style driver's side header. This log style header then feeds forward to the turbo. Part of the SAME header is a 3.5+ in downpipe that gets the exhaust back down next to the bellhousing. The key here is this "3.5" downpipe will not be round, but will be contoured to squeeze into the available space. Another key point is the wastegate will be in the crossover pipe and dump into the exhaust under the car, thus the 3.5in downpipe does not have to flow the bypassed exhaust.
If people are interested I can try to make some pictures/sketches.

Is this yours?![]()
Rear exit exhaust and no tubing under the k member. Custom build from a speed shop
Ya it’s mine. Not quite done yet but getting close. 76/85 t6 forced inductions turbo, tubular manifolds, twin wastegstes recirculated etcIs this yours?
Finished product pix plz!
More details!
Are you going to have to move the ECU/power distribution stuff? Seems like the passenger side manifold is pretty close to everything.![]()

looks like his fusebox and ecu is still there in the first pic.Are you going to have to move the ECU/power distribution stuff? Seems like the passenger side manifold is pretty close to everything.
Did you keep AC?
Ac is intact but due to the location of the passenger manifold the hardlines were modified. No modifications were made to the wiring or ecu location or otherwise. Are you going to have to move the ECU/power distribution stuff? Seems like the passenger side manifold is pretty close to everything.

Guessing no A/C?![]()
