Here's how the Rain/Snow mode looks:
I'm very surprised it's that aggressively flat. And that they thought it was a good idea to go to 100. Why not just make full throttle say 60pct?

The throttle mapping in Sport+ and Track is identical.
There may be other things that the PCM does differently in Track vs. Sport+, but the actual throttle mapping (i.e. relationship between pedal % and throttle %) is the same.

But track in a Mach is linear (different to the GT) :like:

Throttle blipping for rev match and general clutch/throttle coordination.

You drive a slushbox so missing out on that joyful activity.

D5 or D4 doesn't matter
exactly.

being able to predict how the engine will rev is a key ingredient to getting the most out of a stick. track mode felt sluggish until i realized sport mode (for some stupid reason) changed the throttle mapping.

not in my 22 GT PP 6spd. track and normal feel the same while sport goes WOT sooner.

So if it’s not the throttle mapping, what causes the obvious difference in how the car accelerates?

This is interesting, I thought there would be a bigger difference between modes than that. I guess the fact that the A10 will hold each gear to a much higher rpm is what really makes it feel like the car is more snappy.

Mines a 2019 GT and the only difference I feel between Sport+ and Track is the traction control. In Sport+ you can feel the engine lay over if you get too aggressive and the t/c kicks in. Otherwise the throttle and tranny shifts feel the same to me.

It's from HPtuners. The interface is a bit pricey, so it may not make much sense to buy it just for this purpose. Any tuner worth his salt can easily adjust the throttle mapping to your liking.
Thats not sport+ you posted, thats sport. Like when you put the shifter in S. Sport+ is a different map. Like mud mode or something. And I believe drag mode is sand mode in HPT. I'd have to look at my logs. But yes sport+ is not 1:1 throttle pedal to throttle blade. Its quite a bit more.

No, that's Sport+. The labels used in the HPtuners software aren't 100% accurate. And it's identical to Track. I've tested this. After editing this map, I monitored the throttle in both Sport+ and Track, and it had indeed become linear. Besides, I can feel that now the throttle responds the same in Sport+ as it does in Normal, which wasn't the case before.

I dont believe thats right. I have logs of my car in sport+ and HPT shows it in Mud mode. And drag mode shows up as Sand mode. I have a 2022 401a car if that makes a difference.

Indeed, I find that strange, too. Ironically, I think it's even more dangerous like this than the Normal mode is. Because you press the pedal and nothing happens, so you press it a bit harder and nothing happens, so you press it a bit harder, until it suddenly opens to 80%. On a slippery surface this is the last thing you want.

Mud vs Sand which on my car is sport+ vs Drag. You can see how lazy drag mode is. Its really for WOT only.

And you can really feel the 100% throttle vs 80% pedal when you let off. It feels like a throttle hang.
