The price of new tires is getting outrageous.

because 305/30 is "more correct". Stop bucking the rest of civilization and buy 305/30 like everybody else. Or 295/35 which is basically the same as 305/35.
I like the 305/35/19 better. I like a little more sidewall. Just had them installed, nothing like a fresh set of shoes.

I lucked out. Had to replace a set of Firestone Firehawks and got a set of Bridgestone Potenzas from Tirerack for $650. Replacement Firehawks were going to be closer to $1200.

😂 embrace the suck, losers!

Less than a grand for two tires? Those are rookie numbers my friend! I just ordered 4 PS4S in OEM size, $2157.96......
…same, Cup2s are 2296.76 but USAA sells F1 Supercars for 1659.56 plus 500 installation and warranty because they don’t have the touchless machine 🤪

(apparently 325/30/19s are made every fourth harvest moon)

Your loss, they ride great and hook fine for me. Already took it past 100+mph. I guess we will see in 20k miles how they hold up.
for street that's what really matters, ie sub 100mph. And if they provide the feedback and traction level desired. It's just that one needs to check in varying conditions. Eg. the Nitto G2 rears SUCK in the wet, to the point they are dangerous. The GMax AS are very vague/questionable in cold+wet.

We don't know wht the Atturo failure mode(s) are.

I haven’t read any posts but my response is that most companies have used Covid, supply chain issues, and inflation to justify unfair and in some cases outrageous price hikes. Most commodity prices have gone up higher than inflation, it seems. Until people stop buying over-priced stuff the market won’t correct.

This should be a thread title with a sticky for all to see. They really are just not good in those conditions. Even in the dry they’re just ok.

Inflation is a world wide problem, that happens after historically low interest rates. The world's economy have been relying on low interest rates to help keep the economy growing. Sooner or later you have to pay the piper. Interest rates have never been lower than they have over the last 15-20 years

That combined with printing 10+ trillion dollars in a short amount of time. I don't care what your politics are, it's just like, physics man.
