I lucked out. Had to replace a set of Firestone Firehawks and got a set of Bridgestone Potenzas from Tirerack for $650. Replacement Firehawks were going to be closer to $1200.
I don't know, I like how the Mach 1 is trying to keep the old style alive with a pseudo-Cragar SS look on the stock wheels. I'd personally go with some real Cragars in chrome, looks awesome on the new Mach 1 (like the 614C S/S).
Hi,
Just wanted to give a big thanks to you guys. Steve E. was of great assistance and got my lights swapped. The new ones are working perfectly and hopefully will continue to do so. The originals should be back there (hopefully) by now. Do you know if there was a change to the circuitry in the...
What exactly is the fix? I have a 2018 and got these (well, my daughter got them for me) for Christmas and installed them months later when they finally arrived. Mine does the hyper flashing and freezing on a non-blinking amber bar but it only seems to happen when it's really hot, like over 100...
Wow, I've been going nuts over this same issue. I live in Tucson and it's been hitting well over 100 during the day. For me this behavior started once the temps climbed, when it's cooler and at night the signals function properly, but on a hot day the signals work as designed for a few times...
Another plus is that once they are installed and an alignment is done, you don't normally need another rear alignment done every time you have to drop the carrier to swap out springs, etc.
Wow, I haven't revisited this thread for a while, I was surprised to learn that Stealth Hitches stopped production of their hitch for the S550. Sad really, as I like the design and it does work well. Kind of bummed I didn't get the ball mount part for towing while they were still selling them. I...
I'll have to check, but I do know that it scrapes with the receiver installed on my driveway. I have to park on the street to install the receiver and my bike rack. The pix show the receiver attached in the second one.
It weighs a bit, 30 lbs seems like a light estimate. And that's not including the receiver, which is a heavy sucker. I just remember it was a bear holding that hitch up to get it in place to start threading the carriage bolts to hold it up.
Same here, it's really a PITA when I have my Pixel plugged in with Android Auto running (I have Sync 3 w/o Nav). So all voice commands are google at that point. To be able to use Sync 3 commands for whatever (USB, Sirius etc.) I have to unplug the phone. They really should have designed a simple...
Just wish it worked better with non-nav Sync 3 systems. This is probably WAD (works as designed) but I find it to be a PITA. When using my Pixel phone via USB and Android Auto, all speech commands are Google focused only. So that means if I want to use Sync 3 commands for SiriusXM or my music...
MTs are cool and fun, half of my cars have had manuals. But I really love the 10 spd in my EB. If I want to shift I'll use the paddles, but frankly I haven't used them much at all yet.
