So I got everything up and running. Is there a way to get more volume? I was looking and some fords can change a range for the volume in the ACM. Is there anything like that for us?

and also what exactly is in your car? Did you go 4 to 8inch? Did you swap the ACM or is it the base one?

I swapped ACM to get XM and HD radio. XM and HD all work.

I went from 4 to 8, but all of my speakers are aftermarket. Seemed like my base radio was louder than this one. I never ran my base radio as high as it would go. This one, I do most of the time. Anything below 15 at cruising speed and I can't hear it.

I found a ford group where they changed a value in forscan, but it was a drop down, and you pick the range your radio should be. I can't find anything else for mustangs.

This may be a really stupid question, but does anyone know if the dealerships can order and install this for you? I’m going through a buyback right now and I can’t find one with PP1 and SYNC 3. Mustangs are kind of limited in my area right now. I’m getting a 2020 PP1 GT, but really want Sync 3.

Thats what happened to me as well. Sold my E92 M3 and very limited selection of Mustang GT PP1 with a manual tranny in the color I like. Now I need to do the swap.

I just did my 2015 4 to 8" upgrade.Many thanks to those who contributed to this thread.The only issue I see so far is a jumpy compass in the center display.I did do the Forscan changes...Going to go for a ride to see how it goes.

the difference is year made jr3t is for 2018 kr3t is 2019 fr3t was in 2015
