I'm in the same situation except the Sync 3 swap I just removed from my V6 is going into someone else's 19 base. Did you have to reprogram the APIM and FCIM? If so, where do you get the codes? Or do you just save the stock settings on the 19 before the install and rewrite them afterwards?Straight bolt in - no mods needed, except FORSCAN changes. I put a Sync 3 update in my '17 V6 car. When I sold it to buy my '19 GT Base I have now, I removed it and swapped it into my '19. Bolts right in. SUPER easy. No need to swap USB cables or hub. I have a non functional CD slot (as well as non functional heated seat buttons) but I do have all the drive modes now.
