you just have to tap the one hole, the only thing im not sure of is if the non gt350s have counter wound springs in the rear of magnaride optioned cars.
I have a feeling you have the wrong arms and need the gt350 style arms, which would already be tapped

could do a built Gt350 trans, I know the current GT350 part out shop tend sell them used for less than this
I ended up putting my primaries in the rear 02 sensor holes so I could get a good read, if you put them in front holes you can pinch off the wires once the engine rocks, which is what it sounds like it did on your car.
I plan on getting 2 new bungs put in that aren't angled.

How much power are you looking to actually make? Stock Turbo? OEM Headbolts are very Stout.
from my MZR Disi experience OEM head gasket and OEM Head bolts had no issues up to 400whp, 400tq
4 struts, 4 ride height sensors, Harness and Controller. 18+ would be fairly straight forward just reflash your car with the same Forscan info as a car with Magnaride.
15-17 would require all the interior controls from a GT350 to make it work as intended.
