These Bolts are listed as “1 time use” just wondering how many people actually replace them.

Strut bolts always replace, where the strut mounts to the knuckle never replace, and the brake bolts I replaced with the stud kit from OP Mustang.

Seems like the majority of videos it’s not something that is mentioned or if it is mentioned it’s more like a side note.

I always replace but I don't have to using loctite the recommendation is simply for liability and to sell more $0.08 bolts for $7 ea or what ever they are.

Strut to knuckle bolts can get beat up with poor removal technique while strut mount nuts are fine when torqued correctly and reinstalled with blue or red loctite.

Do whatever gives you the most peace of mind.

Personally, I now remove the strut/knuckle bolts with a ball joint press. I reuse mine, and torque them higher than spec. I don't always use threadlock. I put on paint pen index marks. And I track my car. I've had no issues.

This is MY technique. YMMV.

When in doubt replace the hardware, it's cheap insurance in the long run. I always replace and blue loctite brake caliper hardware. You pay almost 50-60 thousand for the car, don't cheap out on hardware that may fail due to being stretched too far.

Yeah for sure. New to the mustang game, I’m good with replacing everything. Like you said cheap insurance.

I always use paint pen when touching chassis too.

They’re not labeled 1 time use for nothing.

If you want to move forward without worry, put new hardware in.

I’ve reused strut to spindle bolts before sometimes but they hold torque better when they’re unused, so if you want to set it and forget it, follow the factory procedure. I’ve also had the nuts fall off on reused bolts, which isnt fun. The strut ended up damaged. Theres a reason they’re one time use. Will you die if you reuse the hardware, maybe not.
