I decided to paint my front calipers and without thinking I loosened the 4 bolts that run thru the front calipers without knowing the correct torque spec. Can anyone tell me what the proper torque should be for the bolts that run thru the front calipers plz. Went back to put wheels on and just thought about it.

I guess pretty much the bolts that would be removed for caliper rebuild

That's gonna be tough because they come preassembled to Ford; they may not list those torque specs even in the full manual. Hand tight should be ok (give it a good crank down), just check them after a few hundred miles. I would say 75 ft lbs is sufficient.

the force/torque runs perpendicular to the bolt direct... it's actually the bolt thickness/hardness that is the safety factor beyond the backing out of the bolts themselves. a very small touch of blue loctite and a quarter past tight is all you will need.
