Removed front calipers to paint. Now ready for install, I’ve been checking for torque specs on these bolts. Came across a few comments that these bolts are to be replaced w new ones for installing of calipers. Is this true, or can I just apply lock tight to bolts I removed & reinstall? Thanks all for any input & hope all are staying safe.

I believe these bolts are torque to yield so it is recommended to replace when reinstalling caliper.

Personally I've messed with my suspension many times and yet to replace these bolts. So far they are still holding good.

It's up to you. If you don't feel safe replace them otherwise torque them to 85 ft lbs and you will be fine.

Manual says 85 lb-ft. They are not torque to yield but manual pretty much recommends discarding any bolt you remove in the brake or suspension system. I haven't...One that for sure is single use is the nut that hold the hub (it torques to 252 lb-ft) and that one I replaced (nut).

Appreciate the feedback, I went ahead and reused the bolts. Car only has 8,500k so figured they are almost like new.haha, applied blue lock tight & reinstalled to 85ft/lbs.
