I want to utilize the Schroth QuickFit Pro for HPDEs since I also use the car primarily on the street. Schroth says these won't fit 2018+ Mustangs, but I thought the GT350 was pretty much unchanged since 2015?

I know there were some subtle changes over the years. For example - I've read the prior years steering wheels don't fit. Anyone have any insight on whether the harness will fit OK and this is just a general fitment oversight?

I posted about this a while ago. I have a 2018 GT350R and installed the Schroth Quick Fit Pro belts. You need to order the buckle receptacle for the 2017 Mustang and it'll work. You can also buy the self tapping screws to install them. The holes are in the back seat area. If I find my previous post, I'll cut and paste it. It included the part numbers.

Thanks. I ordered the 2017 buckle receptacles and all is well. I can confirm the part number posted above works for both driver and passenger sides.

Thanks for this info. These are great belts and used them before in other models. Now need them for my 2019.

Q: Has anyone installed the 5th Anti-Sub strap? I see the QF Pro will accept one. Iā€™m used to at least 5-pt belt and curious to know what the best method is for securing that strap under the seat.

I put mine through the floor and it was a bit of a job. Panel underneath the car has to come off...

Excellent, thanks! Do you happen to have a pic on how far back on the floor you installed? How much available belt there is for mounting? Using the factory seats?

This is a picture of the floor where I mounted it. Note that the seat is all the way back and the floor mat is pulled back in this picture so you can see where the mount is. I is right beside where the little hump starts. There is loads of belt left for adjustment. You could do with half the belt!

I hope this helps!

Anyone have any news on Schroth's direct fitment fix for the 2018 and 2019's, and soon to be 2020's?

Long timing still.
The best easiest way (why i didn't think about it before..) Was to buy a 2017 1 bucket for rear seat ,bolt in TOGETHER with 2018( keep for daily )and Use the 17 for Schroth .

OK, I can speak with experience here. I had the QFP on my 2016 GTPP and loved them. Schroth initially told me that they would not fit the 2108 GT350. After some inquiry, I learned that Ford made a change on the rear belts in 2018. The earlier rear belts had a different receptacle to the 2018s. In 2018 the receptacles are the same size for front and rear belts. I bought a replacement RR belt end for my 2016 and installed it on my 2018. The QFP then fit the 2018 perfectly. I saved the original 2018 belt end so that I can change it back to original when I sell the car.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Iā€™m thinking about ordering this setup for the driverā€™s seat only in my ā€˜19 Bullitt. I see that Schroth now offers this for the 2018+ cars, so thatā€™s great! I have a question regarding the installation of rhe bracket that bolts behind the factory shoulder belt floor mount. Does the bracket come pre-bent or dog legged out away from the plastic or does it have to be bent to clear the plastic trim panel? I was just curious about whether bending it might compromise the integrity of rhe bracket? Lastly, did you add the anti submarine belt? If so, what type of bracket did you buy or fabricate in order to use this belt? Thanks

I never put the plastic piece back or the cover to the trunk. I just tracked this thing.

As I remember you would have to cut the plastic trim to make it fit. I would not modify the brackets.

The belt with the round buckle functions as sub belt. It runs between the bottom and back of the seat and attaches to brackets that attach to the rear of the seat track as pictured

I have this on my '19, but had to purchased used '17 rear seat belt receptacles for the rear in order for it to work... I had no idea they finally made a '18+ model! The brackets had to be bent slightly, and the directions direct you on how to do that. Super easy and won't compromise safety. I used 2 pipes wrenches only because I didn't have a vice handy. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a DM and I can give you my number. If I recall, the instructions were a bit shoddy, and I think I used a combination of schroths instructions and a few YouTube videos. Its not rocket science, but if you've never done it before. . .
