  3. Two Heritage Edition Questions (Badge Removal & Shelby Inlay)

Does your PPF go under the emblem? If so, you’re probably correct. My PPF had a rectangular cutout around the emblem.
  4. Two Heritage Edition Questions (Badge Removal & Shelby Inlay)

Check out this ebay link of an oem wrecked fender. You can see the pins coming through on the pics of the backside. https://www.ebay.com/itm/315172306570?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Tqa4lHAFQGC&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=-YKZZvtjRqS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. Two Heritage Edition Questions (Badge Removal & Shelby Inlay)

1, I’m about 90% sure the metal gt350 badge on the fender has locator pins that insert into the fender, so if you remove it you’ll have holes in the fender. 2, I bet @BigWormGraphix might be able to help you out.

  11. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

I realize you weren’t asking me, but mine was covered under the original warranty and would have cost $26k. They replaced the engine, oil cooler and lines (because they were worried about pieces of valve traveling through the system,) and passenger side catalytic converter which was fouled by...
  12. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

Looks like you’re in the first half of R’s built, so as you said not incredibly early. Just curious since it seems later 2019 and early 2020’s had a higher instance of dropped valves as the failure point.
  13. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

I don't think he gets to have an opinion since he only owns a few vehicles with the inferior gen 1 R motors instead of the clearly superior gen 2 motor. I have internal ford documents in my possession that prove my point.... alas I cant share them with anyone. You're just going to have to...
  14. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

I think different people call the major refresh that happened in 2019 different things. Here’s what fathouse fab had to say about the “gen 2.”
  15. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

Just curious, was it a relatively early chassis number 2020?
  16. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

I’m curious, did you drive the Mach 1 on track or was it a GT with the coyote? Auto or manual? My home track in the 350 I’d be at 8150rpm right at 2 big braking zones, so the thought of being stuck at 7,500 rpm’s kinda sucked, but I figured the low end torque would be helpful is a few other...
  17. Spark Plug Question

Stock platinum plugs are fine for 99% of use cases, especially if the car is largely stock. The only time I’ve needed to go one or two steps colder on the iridium plugs was due to turning the boost up on my turbo cars (and timing via tune). For your use case, going colder won’t harm anything...

  20. Questioning Gen 2 voodoo reliability

You’re right, they absolutely have, and for good reason. Ford tells the dealership to do minimal investigation in order to determine if the engine is trash. As long as dealerships aren’t flagging the reasons for failures and reporting commonalities, ford doesn’t need to issue a recall if a...
