  1. Guys...OH. MY. GOD.

FWIW, I just had my engine replaced under warranty. The service rep showed me the bill to Ford and I can assure you, you don't want to do anything that will void that warranty! <TED>
  2. 2018 GT350 Dealership Offer - $37.5k

Try Carmax. I would expect them to give you 45-50K. <TED>
  3. Ford Performance turn around

In the real world it is a good sign. Yes, it would be nice is this was not necessary, but but at least when they send a service engineer out, something usually happens pretty quickly which at least gets things moving forward. <TED>
  4. Ford Performance turn around

They are very slow. I just got my car back from an engine change last Thursday. It was at the dealer's 11 weeks. A huge amount of that time was waiting for responses from FP after the dealer did what they asked it to do and reported back. <TED>
  5. Engine replacement warranty process

    Thanks. That's helpful! <TED>
  6. Engine replacement warranty process

How did you determine that it is a 2019 R motor? I am picking up my 2018 with a new engine in the morning and I'd like to know what I have. Thanks, <TED>
  7. OEM Brake Fluid - have you boiled them?

I agree with this post except the OEM brake fluid is only safe when pretty fresh. Once it gets enough water in it the boiling point goes way down. Just use Castrol SRF. It is awesome and you can forget about boiling problems - even if you get too much water in the fluid. <TED>
  8. How many miles on your GT350?

    I've got 13,000 on my 2018 bought July of 2018... <TED>
  9. Quick Jack 5000 at Costco

Your thoughts mimic mine exactly! Of course, you have seen the unit - I haven't! Many many thanks! This was very useful. <TED>
  10. Quick Jack 5000 at Costco

I read the specs on the QuickJack and they say that the maximum outside width is 60". I take it that the jacking points on the Mustang are no wider than that? (My Mustang is in the shop so I measured my DD which is a BMW and that car needs a slightly wider stance than 60"). What makes it...
  11. 2019 Oil Pressure?

Who ever said anything about idle. I certainly didn't. The pressures I gave were at operating RPMs. Idling oil pressure is relatively irrelevant, in any event. <TED>
  12. 2019 Oil Pressure?

Mine is a 2018, not 2019, but your pressures are about what mine does on the street. On the track when the oil gets real hot (~270 degrees), it goes down to about 85. I hope this helps! <TED>
  13. Destroyed Spring Perch

I just checked mine and they are still perfect after 13000 miles using aftermarket (Steeda) springs. As do others, I think you have an installation problem. <TED>
  14. GT350R - Aftermerket Wheel Lug Nut Solution

I just got my Titanium Lug Nuts. Oh my god! The pictures on the scale don't prepare you for just how light these things are! Utterly amazing! <TED>
  15. 305 and 325 on factory base wheels

If you do this, I'd be interested to hear the results - particularly whether the rears clear the rear suspension adequately. Thanks, <TED>
  16. Mis-Hap at the track.... front end needed

I buy from Benny at Levittown Ford Pars. They are diamond sponsors of the forum. Ask for a quote in a private message and he will give you a bit more because you are on the forum. He usually gives me free freight which is useful on heavy stuff like brake rotors. <TED>
  17. Greetings from J2511 (2018 Magnetic GT350 w/ black stripes)

    Looks just like my J2495!
  18. Using Gas cans at the race track?

That will definitely fit in a non-gutted trunk, but it is not the normal VP can. I don't have any information on that can or what it is like.
  19. Using Gas cans at the race track?

I did mention in my previous post that I bought Scepter cans and wish I hadn't. However, your car is gutted so the VP cans might just fit. If they do, you are in luck. Check on-line. I think they were 22.X" in overall height. <TED>
  20. Using Gas cans at the race track?

I have room for a couple of cans in the trunk. But you have to choose your cans carefully. The clearance in the trunk is basically 18". Unfortunately, the VP cans (which are the best of them for our purposes) don't fit. I bought Scepter and wish that I Hadn't. The spout is so full of...
