Anyone know what this liquid line is? This is in the seat bottom of the factory Recaros. And as we know there is no heated or cooling capability with these seats.
The line goes to an electrically controlled box and the line terminates in the seat bottom. š¤
Pressure sensor?
This off your Mach-1?? The Mach-1 and GT resonators look exactly the same. (I have both) Then Iām thinking we call Ford out on thisāso lame. Would be interesting to see a GT350 config from the factory
For the āX-pipeā; See if they are āmisleadingā there as well.
Ah yes, AZ summertime washing. Been here for 20 years. And a battle itās been.
From washing very early morning or late night (to get any/all shade) to washing the car IN the garage to slow the evaporation. Couple of learnings over the years:
Deionized water or soft water directly from your...
As others have mentioned, I would also do a brake fluid swap for higher temps, is always good practice. Pads and tires should be stock initially so you know what it feels like. Then you will totally appreciate all the money YOU WILL spend on upgrades. Track is addicting and you will appreciate...
Correct. Inside the resonator is a H-pipe config. The GT350ās have an X-pipe config in there.
Not sure why Ford encased them inside those resonators, but Iām sure it has something to do with additional sound muffling to dial it in to 50-state legal specs.
Careful Amigo. This is all personal preference. If you canāt get it and donāt want to work on it, then cool rev-match. But if you want to work on skill that goes with manual driving, then keep working it. This is why I have it off. Once you have worked your skill it will become second nature...
Turned that off as soon as I took delivery. Veteran Heel/Toe user here. Plus itās a skill that has its own level of mastery that makes it engaging to use quickly on track. Just like any other sport and techniques, this is one that makes driving fun and challenging to execute perfectly.
Thanks for the info. Yes noticed this exact type of temp sensor on the diff. I guess the method is the case temp should be similar to fluid temp.
But this method would take alittle longer to heat up and normalize the entire casing when the fluid temp could spike.
I seek āactual real-timeā temp...
What type of sensor is this? Any specs on the sensor? Wanting to add an external gauge. This is a Mach-1 with the trans cooler for that TR3160. This port on mine is wide open without any plug.
Thanks for the feedback. Figure it would need some serious coding somewhere. But once the mapping was found would be easy to reassign. But yeah, flashing firmware no bueno and lots could go wrong.
Has anyone been able to reprogram the GT350 buttons and map them to the GTās? Man I would love to have direct access to shocks and steering via the buttons and forget the NAV stuff. Also like the phone buttons on the left like the GT350.
Anything in FORSCAN?
Have the Recaros as well. I just slowly retract the seat belt each time so it stays in that slot. If you throw it back then yeah it jumps out of the holder and all the way back. IMHO this looks better than those damn cheap straps.
I had a ā19 GT PP2 as well without the Recaros, and now Iām in...
