I don't have a camera beyond my cel phone camera. I also don't have any editing software beyond what is available on my cel phone. I don't really plan on upgrading at any point. My sister is a pro photog so when the car is ready she will shoot some high end photos. What I would like to do is optimize my current setup. I have a Sony Xperia Z3v with a 20.7 mp camera. It actually takes pretty good pics, but only as good as the photographer taking them (I am mediocre at best), and the format that the M6G will allow me to upload. I have been using JPEG at max resolution, but I am still loosing image resolution, so I tried photo bucket and the photo is smaller but no less clear. Any help or suggestions from some of you guys out there, that have much stronger photo game than myself, would be much appreciated. RRIG deserves a better quality photog than me lol.

I am in the same boat.... My daughter has a high end camera but she is in Austria until May of 2017. Maybe by then I will have a vehicle with some mods and have her take some pics. I have always thought about taking photography lessons and getting some decent equipment. THe Mustang may be my excuse...

What type of 16/17 Mustang are you thinking about? Are you planning to order or buy off the lot? I know you like the ruby red (smart choice), are you looking at any other colors?

I am really looking at purchasing a 2016 off a lot in the next couple of months as that is usually when the 2017 start rolling in and the deals get good on the 16's. I put together a spec/option list and have contacts with truecar.com dealerships looking for me....I also have a friend who works in the automotive industry (software vendor) and he may have some contacts for me as well..I have 3 color choices... ruby red, deep impact blue, or magnetic gray...in that order. I know that if I wanted a DIB I would have to purchase a 2016 as they are discontinued. If I don't find what I want in a current 2016 then I would be forced to wait and most likely order a 2017 in the spring...not crazy about lightning blue or grabber blue colors, but I have not seen them in person so hard to tell sometimes...I also really love the "saddle" two toned interior, but I don't think that would good on the ruby red, it does look fantastic with the DIB and Magnetic. I know for sure I want a GT Premium, but with no PP. I know a lot of people buy that package but I don't like how stiff it rides and the Brembo Brakes are incredibly sensitive. I would do my own mods if I wanted to track it or increase performance/handling. It would mainly be used for daily driving in nice weather, long trips, weekends, etc.. I also am not a fan of the black color schemes with the black rims on the PP. Maybe I am just old school that way, still love the chrome/silver rims.....Any tips on buying via a dealership? This is the first time I have purchased a brand new car. My last purchase was our 2011 sienna van that was off a 3yr lease....

My only tip would be get a good deal! There are sheets on this forum that show what the invoice price for the various trim levels of Mustangs are. I would not pay more than $500 over that invoice price. You can almost always order at or slightly above invoice. Occasionally you can find a car that has been on a dealers lot for a while which he is willing to sell for under invoice just to clear the space. Unfortunately these S-550s are so hot that they rarely sit like many other models do. Overall, do your research on pricing and stick to your guns, there are plenty of dealers out there if one is not willing to meet you at your number...

Thanks for the input...I really appreciate it...it does make me wonder though if it matters whether I buy now or wait and purchase later.....or even purchase via special order...if the invoice price is set and there is a ceiling on the discounts they are willing to give..how much am I really saving? I checked the true car pricing graph and 34k is considered good pricing but not great or exceptional....will do some more digging...maybe there are dealerships in certain regions where theyou are not moving fast and willing to deal more
..guess I just need to enjoy the experience

That looks super sharp! Was it a lot of work getting the covers on or pretty accessible?
It was super easy. The only trick is making sure to have a towel or a cloth over the engine cover as you are jimmy'ng it under the strut tower brace. Don't want to get your shiny new cover scratched all to hell...

New Shiny Rotors

I got a set of new rotors from Rotorpros. Really happy with the way that they came out! Can't wait to get them on the rig this weekend!
