Resonators or mufflers for flowmaster outlaw?

So then a solid mid resonator or muffler like the loudmouth or m80 on to my current setup would be the best option? I heard that the loudmouth 1s will let me retain my volume level but control the drone and rasp that I’m feeling.

That's going backwards if you're worried about rasp. Adding the resonator is 1 step forward but deleting (even Flowmasters) is then 2 steps backwards.

Yes, or go with a whole different muffler all together, one that has better drone and rasp control built in to begin with.

I'd rank it like this from most effective to least:

Borla dual in/out mid resonator (will eliminate most rasp and drone and lower overall volume)
M80/LM2 (will eliminate most rasp and drone and keep overall volume)
LM1 (will eliminate some rasp and drone and keep overall volume)

I’m wondering how the sr performance muffler deletes would compare sound wise to the flow master outlaw? Maybe deeper and louder, then put on m80s after the h pipe to get rid of rasp and drone

Think again. Deletes = higher pitched & drone galore. Speaking of drone.. Flowmaster should change there name to dronemaster.

Muffler delete will actually drone more than the FM, even though FM are heavy on the drone side. Your best bet would be swapping to an exhaust with mufflers designed not to drone like Corsa or AWE vs throwing bandaids at a drone prone setup.

ok Thanks after looking at your list I think I’ll keep the flowmasters and add on either the loudmouth 1s, the 2s or the m80, which is the best in your opinion out of those 3? And what about the dynomax race bullets?

yea I feel ya, I think I’ll go with one of those mid resonators now instead of swapping exhaust again, I’ve spent so much already lol
