Why does flowmaster outlaw catback with active exhaust have 60 series mufflers and not outlaw mufflers?

Might be the way the design is. The only way they could incorporate the actuators was to use the mufflers. That's just a guess.

Could be , but they make an axle back kit with the actual outlaw mufflers. Seems like the catback kit is more like American Thunder rather than an outlaw kit to me .
