Speaking of oil pressure, mine seems to he trending higher with each oil change. Initially (first 4000 miles or so) I saw readings around 85 psi when cold, now 100 and sometimes a little higher. And by cold, I'm talking SW Florida, temps in the 70s/80s when starting.
You will definitely notice an increase in oil pressure after an oil change, fresh oil will always produce higher pressure, get used to it.
This 5/50 oil shows such a broad range of pressure from hot to cold, old to new and low to high revs, if confuses a lot of new GT350 owners.
Here is what has been normal in my engine after 24,000 miles:
New oil, cold @ idle = 90 psi, high revs = 120-125 psi
New oil, hot (180F+) @ idle = 60 psi, high revs = 90 -100 psi
Old oil, cold @ idle = 60 - 70 psi, high revs = 90 - 110 psi
Old oil hot @ idle = 40 - 50 psi, high revs = 80 - 90 psi

I'm not sure there is a VIN stamped on the heads. That being said, they are availible through normal parts channels like any other Ford part.
I was told otherwise, but that sure isn't the gospel

I think it's pertenent to this thread, so may I ask for a link? My dealership Shelby expert told me that you can't buy the parts from Ford for a Voodoo rebuild. If they are available, then thats great news. Maybe I'll call Ford Performance tomorrow and see what they say.

I watched that last night while investigating how alone I was in this dilema. He rambles too much though.
Yeah I can't handle the guy either, i'm not sure of how accurate it is because 1, i couldn't watch it all and 2, i can't verify his intelligence.

I'm not sure these are ever going to be worth more than we pay for them, so numbers matching might be a moot point. I'm hoping they decline in value at a slower pace than non-Shelby's, but that's all.

And I wonder how many buyers nowadays on new(er) cars even think/care about numbers matching. Sure, they watch Barrett-Jackson and learned the term, but how many ever even know where to look?

Now, if all of this stuff is reported on the CarFax, that's another story.

Has anyone whose had a new motor installed even checked their CarFax to see if it says the motor was replaced?

It may be the last hoorah for the high rpm big v8... 20 years from now i wouldn't be surprised if they were worth something, but i don't forsee many 500+hp cars without boost or some secondary hybrid assist being made in the near future.

Ha! That's basically my mindset and why I went for the used GT350 over a new PP2 (well, among quite a few other things of course as well) knowing that GTs always plummet in value. I got spoiled by 4Runner resale value so knowing that the Shelby will likely take much longer to drop, felt like a better value in more ways than one.

But based on what the past decade of Shelby's have done, unless it's a limited run like the 2000 Cobra R's, they sure as hell ain't gonna appreciate in value. But they'll at least not drop like a brick either.

There’s absolutely no comment that can be made about future value, IMO. Only time will tell...end of topic. Think those guys back in ‘65 - ‘66 we’re having the same conversation?

You can buy every single part individually from a dealer or bundled from Ford performance for ex. springs, seals, retainer and locks, #M-6513-M52, to build a Voodoo engine. Periodic backorders can occur though.

I thought the crank was the exception and unavailable, maybe that changed, ...then again you said rebuild so there was an exception to that
